If you want your kids to learn a lifelong martial art discipline that has real world applications, this is the place. Professor Eddie has a real talent for teaching children. It is not only to help keeping kids from getting bullied, but he also teaches them why being a bully is not a good idea, and how to help other children who are being bullied. This was not why I initially signed my boys up for classes, (they just wanted to take a martial art for fun) but it has been a nice addition. Professor Eddie’s patience is second to none and his children’s classes have grown in size significantly as a result. Our kids love it and even though they go twice a week, they constantly want to go more. It is a really great school and has far surpassed what I had expected!

I’ve been studying at this school since around April of 2012(its now June 015). I went in not sure what to expect, walked out confident that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu would be with me for the rest of my life. I’ve watched the school grow in the past 3 years, and have been happy to grow with it. I’m a hobbyist, and have never felt uncomfortable with fellow hobbyists, and professionals alike. It’s an amazing place to study BJJ. Professor Fyvie is constantly updating the curriculum, so the school is constantly advancing and never gets stale. There is always something new to glean. Staff, ownership, curriculum, cleanliness, people to train with are ALL completely top notch. I can not recommend this school enough.

Spa City Jiu Jitsu is a real world Gracie BJJ Filter passing school. The teaching methods and training session emulate the Gracie «real world» approach to self-​defense along with the E.F.S.™ (Eddie Fyvie System™) which add some additional real world focused techniques that are geared for both professional MMA fighters, Bully Proof principles and how to handle unique scenarios.
Professor Eddie Fyvie is extremely knowledgeable and has been doing BJJ since he was 11 years old and started Professional MMA when we was 18 years old.
