AMAZING!!! This flower shop is such a gem and such a pleasure to go to! No matter how many times I go in, there is always another beautiful exotic flower I get to see and learn about. This small shop truly cares about their work and every arrangement they make is absolutely STUNNING! Even though, I live in Long Beach I will pass 15 flowers shops and still would only come here again and again! For any occasion I have this is definitely my go to place. Any time I gift flowers from Wicks the recipient talks about the flowers for weeks and how beautiful they are. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! These flowers are always the hit of the show! You definitely will not regret it!

Always a beautiful arrangement from Wick’s Florist. They are family owned and take pride in their work. I ordered a mixed flower arrangement this time and it was delivered within 6 hours to my parents (who were celebrating their 61^st anniversary!)

We used Wick’s Florist for our July 2015 wedding and could not have been happier with the outcome. From our first meeting, Stefanie understood the exact look we wanted and easily threw together the perfect bouquet of «sunset-​inspired» roses. We met with two other florists, but came straight back: Stefanie was so much more in-​tune to our style and offered a much better price. We trusted her to create bold centerpieces to match the bouquets, and she delivered! We couldn’t believe how beautiful our venue looked when we stepped inside. I have to say I’ve been a Baldwin resident for over 20 years and Wicks never disappoints. They really went above and beyond for my mothers birthday. Your delivery person even congratulated and spoke with her for a couple of minutes. It sure made her day. Thank you so much.

Wish we had more family friendly owners like this throughout LI. Picked up a mini Weber grill keepsake vase from the store and the young lady Jeanine and a fine gentleman that helped were a pleasure to deal with. Such friendly customer service even over the telephone. Will shop again

My wedding was July 3, 2014. Wicks is my local florist and I was hesitant to use them for my wedding because I didn’t know if they could deliver ‘wedding– grade’ flowers but I was very impressed. I had been to 3 other florists that were all recommended by my wedding venue. Wicks gave me the same type of contract for over $ 1,000 less than the lowest quote I had received. I felt even better about using Wicks because they are a real florist. My flowers were there on time, looked beautiful and matched my colors perfectly (I had brought in color swatches of the bridesmaids dresses). They were all very pleasant to work with at Wicks and I would definitely recommend them!

I used wicks for my wedding on May 17^th. I worked with Stephanie. She was a huge help and extremely sweet! Wicks florist is very accommodating and affordable! Stephanie made sure I had everything I needed for the big day, she’s very knowledgable and even let me make last minute changes without question. I would highly recommend wicks!

This is not my local florist but it is located near the home of my relatives. I have shopped here on numerous occasions.
Each time that I have, I must say that I’ve been pleased with the service that I received. The staff is prompt on asking you for help and taking your order.
I think their prices are pretty fair and they offer a variety of arrangements. What I liked most about them is that they are personable and remember families who order and come in from time to time.
They have a shared parking lot with a bagel store but it is usually full depending on the time you go.
I give this store 4 stars because I wasn’t particularly displeased with any service I deemed from them. However, I was never super impressed either. I will re-​review in a few Mos after I’ve used them a bit more often.

Wicks is the most prettiest florist I have ever seen. As soon as I walked in I was blown away. Their floral arrangements were breathtaking. I’ve never seen a florist carry so many exotic flowers. I purchased a corsage for a Sweet 16. The young lady that helped me was so sweet. I believe her nam was Janine. She was so pleasant and knowledgeable. She created a beautiful arrangement with one large ivory rose surrounded by mini red roses. I will definitely be back and will recommend them. Trust me you will make them your personal florist

Recently ordered flowers for my Mom’s birthday. The quality and presentation was beautiful. They even included a birthday balloon without me asking and did not charge me. I will onlly use Wicks!!!

HORRIBLE SERVICE !!! We had a death in the family and we ordered the flowers from Wicks. FIRST of all they were LATE and came in the middle of the viewing. When I asked why they were late they said they ha to wait until the roses came in that morning. Secondly the order was 100% WRONG!!! When I called to ask about it (5 minutes after I received the order) the woman who answered the phone was PAST RUDE AND HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. I called back and the man who answered the phone said he would replace the order. An hour later in the MIDDLE OF THE FUNERAL they delivered the new flowers! AWFUL!!! Several members of the family ordered from Wicks that day. We will never patronize this business again. They never offered to compensate for the lack of professionalism.

I called Wick’s to have an arrangement sent to a very special friend upon her grandmothers passing. Being from LA., I had no idea where to call to have something special put together, so I looked on Unilocal for florists in Baldwin to get an idea. These guys already had good reviews and no wonder! I was helped by Susie, who was extremely helpful and took the time to explain various options for putting together a very special gift basket/​flowers arrangement. My friend called me just a few hours later to thank me for the beautiful basket Wick’s put together. She even sent me a picture and from what I saw, it truly was a gorgeous basket filled with numerous goodies and beautiful flowers! The family was very pleased! I also must add that the prices are very reasonable. If you need to send an arrangement to anyone in this area, call this place! Thank you, Susie for all your help!

Checked with Unilocal for the highest rated florist around my area and Wicks came up. I needed two bouquets for a special occasion and they really helped me out. I didn’t just want a supermarket ready bouquet but something nicer. Gentleman who helped me was the assistant manager and explained how some of the beautiful roses they sell are imported from Holland. Regardless, Wicks custom designed two fantastic bouquets that were well received at what I felt was a fair price for the size and flowers included. You can see the quality in the photo. Would return again.

I ordered flowers for a patient at Mercy. The flower were delivered within a couple hours of my call and were gorgeous. I would definitely use Wick’s again.

I sent a dozen multi-​colored roses to my girlfriend for our second anniversary together. They also added anniversary balloons, a box of chocolates and the flowers wereplaced in a beautiful ceramic vase with two red roses together in the middle. My girlfriend was so impressed with this I can’t say enough about how great Wicks customer service is. Wicks always does an outstanding job that’s why even though I don’t live anywhere near Baldwin I will only order from them. Oh, and ask for the special multi-​colored roses. It’s a special order, They bring them in from Europe and they make a big hit. Never seen anything like them. Thanks for making my anniversary special.

A few weeks ago I wanted to send flowers to my cousin but I didn’t know who to order them from because I’m not familiar with the area. I went on-​line and came across Wick’s so I ordered them. My cousin couldn’t stop telling me how beautiful the flowers were and how they brightened up her day. She also said Wick’s was the best in the area. Thanks Wick’s and thanks to the rep I spoke with that morning.

It’s never easy when the unfavorable unexpected happens. Wick’s Florist & Greenhouse helped us show our condolences to a fellow coworker when a family member passed away.
We decided to send flowers and Wick’s came recommended. After pooling our monies together we went to the website to see what was available. The pictures were a tad bit disappointing so we called Wick’s and asked if that was it. Paul, who answered the phone, told us that he would custom design something for us and promised that the arrangement would be much more fuller. We trusted him and what was delivered was far more than we imagined. Needless to say, we were very pleased.
The arrangement got many compliments and quite a few people we know from the Long Island area said after seeing the work of Wick’s they wished they had gone with them instead.
My recommendation is to call Wick’s when placing an order. They will work with you to provide the very best. They’re an honest and genuine florist.
