Really liked this place! Really loved the jump! These guys are great and made my jump fun.
They are very organized and run a first class business.
It is easy to get to and affordable. Staff is excellent.
One of the funnest and most adrenaline filled things I have ever done.
I got the video and it’s worth the extra money. Fun to share to with my family and friends.
BTW, the first step out is pretty scary but after that it’s just really cool falling for 60 seconds. And the slow parachute part is equally as good.
I WILL do this again. And I will do it as Skydive Twin Cities!

Great place! I did my first tandem jump with them! Easy to book, close to the city, and all stuff are amazing!
I got a great video with my jump as well! I would highly recommend to get this photo/​video package, it’s a perfect quality and nice thing to have after your jump.

Some people die at 25 and just aren’t buried till they’re 75. If you don’t want to get to the «end» without having an amazing adrenal spike go jump with Twin Cities Skydive! It’s 13,000 ft and 120mph of incredible adrenaline rush. I’ve had perma-​grin since my jump yesterday. This outfit is very organized and professional. They really make you feel good about the jump before it happens. Dan, my instructor, was the best. And the video guy was super funny… definitely get the video. I want to go again today!

Skydive Twin Cities is amazing. We went at the Baldwin location and it was a total blast. Everyone there is so great and make you forget about how nervous you are. Skydiving was incredible and was worth every penny. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would dive again. The $ 40 go-​pro picture package is also definitely worth it.

Such an amazing day from start to finish. I was reserved for a Monday afternoon tandem dive, along with 5 of my cousins, and my boyfriend. 7 of us all together. We all had such a great experience here. Everyone was so kind, helpful, energetic, funny. It was just perfect.
I had Smiley as a tandem partner. He is awesome! He was so wonderful to me. Helped calm me down, because I was definitely panicking, he was funny, and of course had a smile on his face the whole time.
There was a man who did two of our videos and he stayed with us for about an hour showing us the pictures on his laptop and just telling us stories. He’s been doing this for 31 years, and had lots to share!
BTW, buy the video/​pictures. TOTALLY worth it. They do an awesome job.

I truly had one of the best days of my life here. I don’t really know how to rate this place because it is the only skydiving experience that I have had. I came here with my nephew on my mother’s birthday (She was not so thrilled about that. Haha.) We were fitted for gear and then seated in an area where we were shown a video about what we were about to do and instructed on what to do and what to definitely not do. After that, we sat outside waiting for our plane to pick us up. During that time, we were able to watch a group of people land from their dives. Once we were on board our plane, we were strapped to our tandem partners. Shortly thereafter, we were rocketing towards the ground. I was scared out of my mind right before we jumped, but as soon as we were diving and I opened my eyes, all the fear vanished and I starting taking in the intoxicating rush. It was absolutely surreal and breathtaking. Our parachute opened after about a minute of freefall and we floated back down to Earth for about 7 minutes. The landing was smooth. After I began walking again, I felt like a different person. I couldn’t stop smiling, yet I was incredibly calm… basically, in a trance. My nephew felt exactly the same way.
There is no way to describe the experience unless you have done it yourself.
Overall, the service was good and the experience was absolutely extraordinary. I can’t think of anything negative to say. As I said before, this was my only skydiving experience, so it’s hard to pick how many stars this place deserves compared to another. For now, I will give it five stars. I do intend to skydive again, so if I find out that this WONDERFUL experience that I had in Baldwin was just metocre, I will update accordingly.
My nephew and I are alive to tell the tale, so check this place out!

Whats the difference between a golfer and a skydiver?
A golfer goes, «splat, damn»…and a skydiver goes «damn, splat». ha!
My crazy friend and I decided it was time for an adventure (or maybe it was just a quarter-​ish-​life-​crisis, turning 30 is tough!) and when hang gliding was not an option, we deciding skydiving would be the next best plan. Man am I glad we make the leap!
Skydive Twin Cities is located off the beaten path in Baldwin, Wisconsin. Its a bit of a trek, but very much worth if you if are interested in hurling yourself out of a perfectly good airplane at 13,000 feet. I would also like to note that there is no perfectly good airplane according to SDTC (and you can buy the T-​Shirt saying so).
Our group of 8 arrived 15 minutes early only to wait about an hour before we could jump. You have to have perfect weather conditions if you don’t want to be at risk of plummeting to the earth without a parachute. I was fine waiting.
Loads of paperwork to fill out that, lets be honest, you don’t read because if you don’t sign, you don’t jump and a short video greeted you before getting weighed in (yes, you have to be a certain weight) and paying your around $ 200 – 300, depending if you had opted for video or not, if you had enough for a group discount and what day of the week you went.
Save up your money and get the video, it is worth every penny. This is coming from the girl that got the video, and her video malfunctioned, and I totally regret not jumping again (discounted fee) to have a video done for free. I wish I had my video! But I got pictures and a partial refund… so…next jump, hopefully it will work!
My tandem dude was amazing, making me feel much more comfortable (I was super nervous) with his jokes and extra amount of information while we made the 13,000 feet climb in the tiny, tiny plane (they call sardine airlines). The ascent took about 10 minutes, try to enjoy the ride up, it is quite cool to check out the landscape. It is slightly awkward basically sitting on someones lap for the ride, but I will take the awkwardness for the security of being safely strapped to someone who knows what they are doing.
We had a few single jumpers before our tandem, so we got to watch a couple jump out by themselves before jumping ourselves. I suppose I should call it fall… there is no jumping involved. Then I also got to watch my friend fall first, she wanted to be first, so more power to her! Then, my turn. It all happens very fast, you inch your way to the edge of the plane (this is the scariest part, I was repeating «oh, f*ck, oh, f*ck over and over), sit your butt on the edge for a few moments while the photographer/​videographer readies himself on the wheels, count to three and your instructor basically hurls you both out of the plane… and you just fall… and fall… and fall… even talking about it is completely exhilarating and makes me relive it in my head!
There seriously is no way to describe the feeling. You are so high that it isn’t even high anymore and the air resistance is such a strange feeling! It is loud, so very loud, no communication possible while falling. You free fall for a minute, but my instructor pulled our chute early so we could play in the clouds. I am so grateful for that, because it was the coolest thing, ever! Once that chute is pulled (which, by the way hurts a bit, due to the abrupt stop) it is so peaceful, quiet and the view is amazing! You can see your shadows in the clouds and a rainbow surrounding you! They feel amazing too, you float through dense fog basically, cool and wet and just stunning!
After landing safely you take off your harness and get a signed certificate. Then you wait patiently for your pictures and video. While you wait, you can shop, watch other jumpers or watch them pack chutes too. Hopefully your video works. If it doesn’t, pay for the extra jump, trust me, you will want that video.
I can’t wait for my next jump, this Spring!

It’s hard to draft a review of a place when I don’t have much to compare it to– I can say X has better coffee than Y, or A offers the best deals on B, etc. I had my first and only skydive experience at Skydive Twin Cities, thanks to Groupon– and I lived to tell the tale. That alone deserves 3 stars. I think the extra star is for my awesome tandem pal (Byron) who helped me forget how nervous I was by making me look at the clouds.
