Believe all the bad reviews. You are going to deal with lairs and cheaters. They told me to sign a contract with a high price then they will look for a better quote. Eventually they made me pay for the high price that I signed for.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Please, understand that I am writing this review to save you from my own personal hell.
Reader beware as this writing outlines an unbelievably and ridiculously horrifying experience.
So where do I start… I wanted my car to be shipped from the west coast to the east coast. To my surprise, I found this was actually a very common route among these types of companies. I called a company, Montway Auto Transport, and scheduled a week in advance for my car to be picked up on a Monday (with Tuesday as a flexible date). Long story short, on Wednesday my car had yet to be picked up. I panicked, cancelled my order with montway, went straight to my phone and dialed the first car transportation company that showed up in Google — Auto Transport 123. A man named Ross answered my call, said that he «gets a lot of this and our company is different because we own our own trucks and are a family owned business.» He «guaranteed» me, several times, that my car would be picked up Wednesday night or Thursday morning the latest. He GUARANTEED me and told me that he had actually just spoken with a driver that was in my area and would be able to pick up the car «maybe tonight». As vulnerable as I was after the terrifying panic of missing two full days of work already, I agreed and signed up telling him, explicitly, to call me back in four hours if I don’t hear from him sooner. Ross gave me his direct extension and told me I could call whenever I want. Wow, I was happy and had calmed down. Little did I know this absolute liar scammed the crap out of me. Nighttime comes around and I called him… 5 times… With no response. So much for «call me whenever and I will pick up.» So I called customer service and some lady answered. I told her my situation and she said «oh yea, Ross is my brother, we are a family owned company.» So I thought, great! She understands me. She then briefly tells me that dispatch (aka they don’t own their own trucks and outsource — as every other company with their thumbs up their butt and fingers dialing does) does not have a truck anywhere near my area. Great. I told her I was guaranteed Thursday morning the latest. Her response, «if Ross said he would do something, he’ll do it.» (False). Called back Ross in the morning five more times until on the fifth he answered and said «sorry I am running late into the office.» (No problem, buddy. We are on your time I guess). He tells me that he just got off the phone with «dispatch» and they have a truck headed my way that will be there within the hour. I told him to please send me the info of the driver and a number to contact him.
(Disclosure: this is where it gets weird). I receive an email with a first name only of someone named Enrique and a phone number. I dialed the number and called several times to no avail (the inbox was completely full so I could not leave a message). I then received a jumbled text from that same number 30 minutes later indicating that he was «on his way» to my city. (So he’s not even in my area yet). Now, remember that Ross promised me Thursday morning the latest and that it would be within the hour «guaranteed». 30 minutes have past and this supposed Enrique isn’t even close. It’s now 11:30am (four hours later) and «Enrique» won’t answer or respond to my texts (note: he texts me at first saying «can’t pick up, I’m driving and difficult to talk”— that’s weird. It’s harder to talk on the phone than it is to text while driving a massive towing truck?). I called customer service and spoke with a lady who mentions that Ross is her brother and they are a family owned company. Interesting, feel like I have heard that before. She tells me that she spoke with «dispatch» and they do not have a driver nor a truck on the way. That’s impossible, I have Enrique’s first name and phone number. What’s going on here? Is this guy fake and is this phone number that only texts jumbled letters fake?
So, I called Ross again six different times to no avail. I get a call back from the same number with a woman on the line saying «why do you keep calling my house?» Uhh. This is Ross’ direct number. She said «oh yea that’s my brother, we are a family owned business.» (Um… What? Are all of you brother and sister at this company?) So I franticly explained my situation AGAIN and she cut me off with a rude, mean attitude screaming at me not to yell at her. Excuse me? I wasn’t yelling, I was explaining what was going on for the 7^th time! Telling her that her supposed brother GUARANTEED me these times, hence the only reason I booked with this fraudulent company. She says «oh yea hold on.» I hear chattering, I kid you not, between her and another male. She comes back and says «oh yea so we found Enrico (it’s Enrique…) and he broke down.» I froze. Immediately get a text saying «I’ve broken down.» No way. These people lied. Created a fake driver to keep me from cancelling to give them time. I immediately blew up and cancelled.

Horrible experience! No communication and left me hanging with no idea if a carrier would show up for my car and it was delivered late as well! PUSHY salesman who twisted his words to give you false information!
I have to say that if it weren’t for KB Transport who actually picked up and delivered the car with honest and polite communication I would have called this a total failure.
DONT USE Auto transport 123 !! Call KB transport direct if you are looking for a reliable carrier to transport your vehicle.

do not use their service. they are liars and extremely poor customer service. for one thing they never told me that i needed to pay more until my trailer was docked and according to the matson, the company they deal with said they dont like dealing with them because they always run into issues with them. plus they said my trailer arrived 5 daus after it left the port in oakland. till this day my freaking trailer is still there because of their stupid mistakes. brain took diwn the wrong measurements and that casie lady is just as ignorant as he is. so now i have to pay $ 700 more!!! let me dig far enough into my pocket for more money. oh i dropped my trailer off on a monday because i was told it was going be shipped out on the monday. bull it shipped out on friday. bottom line do not use them period, better off just using someone else.

DON’T USE THESE GUYS AT ALL COSTS. The low bid and a promise of a quick pickup are tempting, but you WILL regret it.

Please do research on BBB and see that Auto Transport 123 is not even BBB accredited. They have 120 complains and many negative reviews on their company, just please do not do business with this company under any circumstances, don’t be scammed like me.
5÷24÷16 (Yesterday) I spoke to Jason 888−885−9123 ext 549 from AT123 told me he and his brother and father own the company and they are trust worthy people, and that they were top rated company on a transport review website. I was planning to transport my car to CA a month later (6÷20÷16), Jason promised me that if I give him my credit card I can reserve the price he gave me, he uses credit card information only as a ‘reservation’ and he promised he «will not charge my credit card until day of pickup»! The same day I changed my mind so I called Jason to cancel my reservation. Jason promised me the service was canceled, and I will NOT BE CHARGED! Today (5÷25÷16), I see a charge of $ 275 on my credit card from them. I went online to check their reviews and find similar horror stories about them charging money unauthorized and refusing to give back, and the person had to cancel their credit card and dispute the charge! This is an absolute nightmare and I regret ever giving them my credit card! DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! BE WARNED! I have to call my credit card company and cancel my credit card and block the charge.

The absolute worst customer experience that I’ve ever had. They lied, tried to withhold my deposit even though I cancelled per the terms of their policy and then wouldn’t answer any emails or calls when I was trying to work through details of cancelling my shipping order with them. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to eventually get my $ 500 back. Christian was an absolutely awful liar all the way through the entire transaction. Customer beware! In an industry of sliminess, this company takes the cake.

10 days and counting, no movement on my transport. Will likely have to wait the 10 business days to cancel, and then use an actual car transport company.

If there was a negative star I would rate it as that. Thanks to this company I was unable to celebrate Mothers Day with my mom. They had booked a reservation with them back in march for their car to be picked up. When my parents called a few days prior they were told they were working on it. Now this is May 3. We then called back and they said that they gave us the incorrect price and charged us an additional 250.00, When we told them they need to honor the price they orig gave they said we don’t have to honor anything. We then kept calling to get an actually time and date that they were going to pick up the car and they either wouldn’t pick up the phone or said the guy was out to lunch. What they should be is be out of business. Then they said they can pick it up on the day that my parents were suppose to fly up here making that something that is they just couldn’t do. So now they had to cancel their flight paying a cancelation fee. re book their flight at a much higher price and to get to top it off not be with their family on Mothers day. I’m going to file a complait with the better business bureau.
I can’t believe there are some good review it must be people they know I would stay away from them.

As many others have pointed out, they lie to you before you even talk to them. They don’t own the carriers they use. They’re brokers like everyone else. Which is fine, but that’s not what they advertise. Dealing with them, however, was absolutely terrible.
I called to have my car shipped on the 27^th of April and had the representative confirm with me several times that my car would be shipped on that date. So I took the day off and stayed home waiting for a call to confirm to see when the driver would arrive. Just to make sure, I called Auto Transport 123 and they said «Oh, your car is actually scheduled to be picked up on May 3^rd.» After a long day of back and forth (and promising me that they could get me my car shipped that day and changing their minds later, I cancelled and they ended up charging me $ 100. They also promised several times to call me back with updates and never did. I had to call them back every time.
Avoid this company at all costs. I don’t know if they mean to do it, but they feed you lie after lie and promise you things before they’re sure they can deliver (and they’ve made it clear that they never can).

Prepare yourself for a barrage of half-​truths and some outright lies dealing with this company.
I was put under the impression that my vehicle would be transported by one of the drivers working for this actual company and driving one of the company trucks. It turns out they’re pretty much just a broker like every other company despite what they might tell you. Be prepared to pay a cancellation fee and deal with nasty attitudes if you try to cancel or change the booking.
I saw enough red flags to cancel and and my call confirmed that I made the right choice.

The worst experience I had with any company, They failed to transport my car in the desired time so I had to cancel they screw it all up and then change $ 100 cancellation fee

Based on AutoTransport.com’s reviews I chose to call this company. I spoke to Aaron promptly. This is a family owned business based on what I was told. Aaron is the owner’s son? Anyway, I was quoted a higher price to ship my car from IN to CA. Their deposit is $ 225, a bit higher than the other companies I talked to. His focus was to get me to e-​sign the contract while we were on the phone and get my card # for the deposit.
Ask as many questions as you want. He’ll answer them, though he is a fast talker make sure he answers exactly what you ask. The deposit is not withdrawn from your card until the transporter is booked, which I did like.
I didn’t have a VISA handy at the time so I gave him my AMEX, he said he’d call back for the VISA #. He did the next day but I was busy. He called the next day 3 times in less than a 40 minute span and left a voicemail saying nothing. When I did answer to give him shit for it he pretended not to notice the short span of time between calls and blamed his dad for calling me over and over. *le sigh
We ended up settling on a price $ 150 lower than he initially quoted. Don’t be afraid to open up your time frame for a lower price. I also used the Unilocal Coupon for $ 30 off.
The driver was booked within a week, I was notified via email. My car was picked up and dropped off almost on schedule which was totally fine with me. The driver was very nice and I trusted him with my car.
Overall, I’d use their services again. I would work with Aaron again also, as most of the reviews on other people aren’t positive here but I think he did a fine job.

I will never again trust this company.
This was the first time I transporting my car. I did a online quote and they called me without telling me the agent’s name. They just asked my credit card information to for the quote, told me they won’t charge anything. That was fraud! After they had the credit card information, they just sent me the agreement by email, and asked me to signed it! Can you believe that? Just like I cannot read. They just asked me to sign… That was totally fraud!!! And, the price is not fair at all. I told them I need to compare several other quotes, then, they took my credit card information.
Never fall for the smooth talk…
They steal your money just for talking to you.

There had been an apparent misunderstanding and is now resolved and clarified.

I had issues and had to go back and forth with them a while. Eventually.
A supervisor named Michelle called and was very patient, pleasant, calm and thorough. They have resolved my issue and refunded me my deposit and their ‘cancellation’ fee (s).
I have no remaining issues with them.

I listened to Steve’s spiel on speaker for about fifteen minutes while getting work done on my computer. He spent a good bit of time putting other companies down. Said that I seem like a «smart woman» based on nothing other than the call I was making to request a price for car shipping. At the end, my favorite part was when he said,
«you’re a woman and women like to shop. i get it. «
Sorry Steve, I don’t think you get it.

First of, don’t fall for the line, «We own all of our trucks,» they’re just brokers like the rest. Second, the date they guarantee you to pick your vehicle will not be honored, it’s just a scam to get you to sign. Third, once you sign, you’ll never hear from the broker again (John). He will not answer your calls and when he accidentally picks up your call, you will immediate be transferred to customer service (Janine), who by the way has no clue when your car will be picked up. After a week of calls, they kept telling me, «Your car has been assigned, we’re just waiting on the carrier to sign.»
I have not dealt with other companies, but this one is not what they promised.
It’s been a week since I signed a contract with this company. So far, they’ve told me, «We’re just waiting for the driver to sign off on it.» I believed it the first time, but after hearing this several times I realized it was B.S. I was speaking to a very rude customer service rep. (Janine) so when I asked to speak with her supervisor, she informed me she was the supervisor. Janine then confirmed my suspicion when she told me their company does not own any trucks.
Once you sign a contract, they have 10 business days to find any type of transport. After the 10 business days, you’re no longer obligated to pay them. I wasted 10 business days and two weekends, just so they could tell me they could not find Transportation for my vehicle.
Is this even a legitimate company? I think they make their money by taking you for a ride without providing services. Do your homework and don’t sing anything unless what they told you is in writing.
I will not recommend this company.

Words cannot describe how bad this company is. They are one of the worst companies of any type I’ve ever dealt with. Specifically the people are are incompetent, unreliable, and possibly dishonest. I selected this company without looking at their Unilocal reviews and judge only based on the conversation with the sales rep. That was my huge mistake. Hopefully you won’t make the same mistake I did. Here’s a laundry list of things you can expect when dealing with this company.
— All the sales and customer service reps make promises they cannot keep. For example, I was promised that they would be able to pick up my car from San Francisco on a particular day/​window. They never came. Naturally what followed was a string of customer support calls trying to figure out when the car can be picked up. They strung me along for almost 10 days. Each day was the same story. «I promise we’ll find someone to pick it up today or tomorrow» — and like a fool, I was tricked into not finding an alternative earlier. To make matters worse, I later find out out that most truckers don’t even drive into San francisco and instead make you drive 15 – 40 minutes to meet them somewhere. I could have dealt with this if they had told me any of this. Instead I was specifically promised the opposite, that they would find a trucker that could pick up in san francisco.
— The truck driver they booked not only refused to enter san francisco due to his truck size but when I asked if there was any compromise that could be made, he offered to enter san francisco and pick up the car if I paid him extra cash and cut Autotransport123 out of the picture. Ummmmmmm… what?
— They will never EVER call you back even when they say they will.
— They will never respond to any emails. When I finally give up and call their company line again, to ask for a status update (days later), they tell me they «saw my missed calls and emails and were planning on getting back to me»
— They’ll transfer you from rep to rep in a circular way. No one takes ownership. Everyone just passes the buck.
In the end, many auto transport companies face the same constraints and challenges with pick up locations and a network of loosely affiliated drivers and road conditions and traffic. The key thing to planning successfully is having all the facts. Autotransport123’s biggest fault is that they will not tell you the facts. Their estimates are either far too optimistic/​out of their hands or worst case — downright lies. In the end I felt like they would say anything to keep me from canceling the contract.
