Meet the Business Owner

David V.

Business Owner

David has always had a passion for technology and the arts. After receiving an optical engineering degree from the University of Rochester he moved to Hollywood, CA where he combined his education and his fascination with visual effects working for Oscar-​award winning visual effects house, Apogee Productions. In the early 1990s he returned to New York where he spent several years in production as a camera assistant on music videos, commercials, features and documentaries. Eventually he returned back to visual effects accepting an editorial position at visual effects house, Charlex.

Wanting to have his own business and a desire to make a difference in his community he left advertising to find a way of using his talents to help local businesses. Seeing the rapid proliferation of digital signage he set out to make it affordable and easy-​to-​use for small businesses. In 2011, David launched Signpost Digital offering unique digital advertising solutions specifically for small business.
