I keep meaning to look for you things I wanted to the cleaning department and one lady that worked there I wanted to ask if they carry Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo at the moment I asked she didn’t even let me finish and really she said no and I was like excuse me and she just really said we don’t have it like really it’s not your business so I understand if you don’t care how you do customer service because it doesn’t affect youbut after talking to the manager he understood and he talked to the lady hopefully she understands the importance of customer service

One star is too much.
I called to try to place a special order for the business. I was on hold for five minutes before someone answered. I was transferred to five different people and non could help. The last person I was transferred to hung up on me. I tried to call again the wait time was over five minutes.

Do not bother buying big items here. If you can buy thems online, do it. I recently purchased a patio set and found that it was $ 125.00 cheaper online, with the option of picking up in store. I then tried to get the difference back in store and the associate Veronica was very helpful, but the store manager stopped her from continuing the price match. This store manager (Ivan) didn’t even have the courtesy to come out and say it himself.
I was planning on purchasing other big items here based on the previous customer service I’ve received, but if their own store manager is unwilling to give a customer the proper customer service that is required, then he doesn’t deserve the sales.
Go at your own risk… but it will hit you in the pocket

After yet another disappointing experience with the West Covina location, we went to the Baldwin Park location to pick up our blocks and wood to build our new garden plots. We were having difficulty finding the wood that we wanted when Alex and Ivan came down the aisle and I asked for their help. They found it for us but needed a forklift to get it down. Alex asked if we could wait while his employee was helping someone else but would help us next to get the wood down. We waited and waited, I finally went and asked someone else to help us. Alex and Ivan came back down our way and both were pretty upset to find us still waiting, they immediately got someone to assist us. Even though this location is farther away from us than WC and Covina, this will be our new HD store. Thanks Alex!!!

My go to place for home improvement stuff. Sometimes it’s hard to get someone to help you as it can get pretty busy. So when I’m in no rush I look at the humongous signs and follow them to the item I am looking for. Parking is adequate and restrooms were quite clean.

Typical HD as for layout of merchandise and I noticed some of the clearance items are nothing more than returns and the so called discounts are only pennies yes pennies off of the regular priced items. True one does save but hey if 22 of these Lincoln’s floats your boat then go for it.
Staff was friendly enough and one was greeted in isle and the solar panel sales guy was off his mark because he was more interested in the tight jeans and top sales associate than asking people if you own your own home? Good for me was not in the mood for pushy sales tactics.
Good selection tiles as I had just completed a personal home projects and again encountered knowledgable staff explaining to an older couple.
This location also has a tool rental section which is a plus.

Employees are super helpful and knowledgable about each material. I was here to buy bricks for a brick wall project for my construction class and the guy who helped me gave me a lot of tips. Really nice guy, it’s too bad I didn’t get his name. Like other Home Depots, this one is also very neat and organized in a pretty convenient location right off the freeway!

Are you kidding me, my friend and I experienced unnecessary actions. We were kicked out of the Home Depot for no reason. We were asked to leave the premises for? Only they know, I wish I could of had the opportunity to talk to the Manager for the bad and horrid morals of their «positions» and their people.

They should make an air freshener that smells like the Home Depot… does anyone else love the smell of lumber?
Came here for supplies to install my air conditioner. I wouldn’t say the Home Depot is a place I enjoy going to exactly… however this review is for the customer service and the one-​stop shopping convenience when you need to take care of those little DIY projects for the home. I can see why it is possible to spend hours in this place… when you have entire aisles dedicated to screws (wood screws and steel screws and bolts… oh my!), it can take awhile for the non-​regulars to find their way around. If anything this giant warehouse almost has too much of a selection but that’s just from someone who is not a regular with construction and home repairs.
Womenfolk need not be intimidated… the workers here are kind and will help you find what you’re looking for if you ask.

Big box DIY center! I usyally go herevfor little fuxvit yourself stuff. The drawback of big places like this that you probably wont find gelp as easy as a smaller store like OSH but the good thing is everything ard organized by type and function, so most likely if you know or think you what are you looking for, most likely you’ll find it. The garden center is pretty extensive too. Very convenient operating hours.

The costumer service at this location is wonderful. My son and I visited today looking for a few oddities for my business. Even though we needed no assistance, in every department we had an associate offering to help us. I observed as the staff helped others, and they were very kind and informative. I highly recommend Home Depot in Baldwin Park.

I was being helped by «Jesse» in the tool rental department, and was really disappointed by he’s unprofessional service skills, he misled us with stalling messages that our brand new lawnmower (with major leaks) would be fixed, but he would prolong and stall, it basically took three weeks to fix a basic oil leak, and when I received it, the box was full of oil, still leaking.
I wanted to truly love Home Depot, they are ultimately not known for their customer service but they let me down like a hot girl would give me blue balls!
At the end I didn’t even receive the phone call by Jesse himself, it was by someone else, pansy!
True customer service is to fix the damn thing and make the person happy and keep coming back, not scare him back to Lowe’s (which they’re much better) I give you guys 2 stars only because the person that helped me at the end (cute girl by the way) helped me out and resolved by issues but definitely will not go back, ever!, Peace!

Roni on the sales floor was extremely helpful! She helped us out by locating an item on the floor but when she saw that their stock was damaged/​depleted she directed us to the nearest HD locations with the number of items in stock at the other locations. We thanked her and as she walked away she was went around asking customers if they needed help. Great job Roni!!! I don’t know if she’s a manager but if she is not she should be!

Helpful employees you have Jesus in the garden he’s always smiling and making suggestions for purchase, it’s nice to have someone’s unbiased opinions versus just a matter of a sales person trying to land the sale.
That is a trait you will definitely get here at this HD, other places you can walk passed people without being greeted not here, there all about their customers! Few times I’ve come in just to grab items on my break thinking no one is watching and staff comes from out of nowhere making sure I’m finding everything I intended on finding.
Sometimes I feel dumb asking for help so I choose to hound the aisles on my own while, there are usually people waiting to help where I’m like it’s okay guys you can help someone else out; I will figure this out.
Going to other locations of HD and seeing that some of the other locations are less staffed, it’s harder finding assistance and it takes much longer usually in the paint department to get a can of spray paint
The aisles are always neat and tidy, product placement is aways where the sticker are labeled.

Never again, can’t get anyone to help you. I had to ask 3 different people and still no help. Poor service.

Our 5am Black Friday shopping exoerience was outstanding.
We were greeted with a hot cup of cocoa and a sweet pastry and friendly smiles.
The greatest part of our experience was Tobys friendly and professional customer service.
Baldwin Park store is definitely our #1 Home Depot for home improvements.

PABLO! By far the best employee Home Depot has. We have been renovating for over a year and we have been to multiple HDs to build from the floor up. This guy spots us checking out appliances, we were there for a fridge and stove after visiting the piece of crap Sears Outlet. So he says «let me know if you need any help» he rushes over to grab his apron, clearly he was on break. So Pablo answered all our dumb questions and even went online to help us find what we were looking for. I personally would have been frustrated with myself but he was so cool and helpful. I don’t know if there may be more than one Pablo there but our guy was the really friendly guy in glasses. This isn’t our home HD but I wish I would have came here all along.
Happy with my purchase.

What I appreciate most is the getting help from the staff. They go out of their way to print instructional docs that help in projects.

I come here a lot to get supplies when i need to fix something in my house. The prices here and the merchandise is the same as any other home depot. The reason why im not giving this place a higher rating is because of the customer service. It can take a long time to find someone to help you. Sometimes you approach someone who doesnt even work in the area you need help in. But as soon as you get someone they are very knowledgeable and helpful.
