If I could give this a negative star I would. First day he spilled paint on my brand new hardwood floors (keep in mind there was plastic covering it) then he leaves“to let the walls dry so he can paint the ceiling”. Plus let’s not even talk about the patch work he did that literally looks like something I did myself, in fact I’ve down patching better than that. So he doesn’t finish the job that day and is supposed to come back the next day at noon. So noon comes and goes and nothing. I call him he says he will be here in a hour, only to call back to say he has to do it on Monday (Monday is a holiday so we agree on Tuesday at 9am). He shows up Tuesday at 9:30am. When he «finishes» I go in and inspect the work. The paint job was very spotty and the stain he did on my wood door is amateur at best, he clearly was in a hurry. Not to mention he got more paint on my floors (after I cleaned up the mess for the first day), and on some of my furniture and personal property. He also tracked wood stain throughout my house and on the molding which is supposed to be white. When I bring this to his attention he argues with me and basically tells me «you get what you pay for». HE QUOTED THIS PRICE TO ME! I didn’t even negotiate him down any. I knew it was a big job that’s why I hired a «pro». He was completely disrespectful and I was forced to hold back some money from his pay. To top everything off he took my paint brush, rollers and painters tape (he didn’t even use the painters tape) which means I should have held out more money. This was definitely a lesson learned, never again. I would stay far away from this business it’s absolutely not worth the headache.
