Elam Kwik Kar

My husband took my car for a oil change on 1−26−16 last Friday. We had been noticing oil leaking out on drive way. He ask them to check and see where it was leaking and oil change. They changed oil and then told him it was leaking on oil housing. They should of told him that at time of oil change and he would of went and got housing. That charged 89.67 and I had oil leaking all out. Do I go and order oil filter housing. I go back to kiwi jar and ask them to make it right. Owner tells me that they told my husband before he changed oil! He did not tell my husband that so he’s calling my husband a liar! I told him I’ve always came here for oil changes but I wouldn’t be back. That he has lost our business. I went to take 5 and they showed me that the housing on oil filter wasn’t cracked. It’s the plastic gasket that goes around the housing that needed to be replaced and that all shops have that ready available. Kwik kar had strip out bolt for oil filter housing. So I spent 109.28 for them to change my oil. I had to go auto zone for the bolt 3.00. Kwik kar are only out to make a buck they are dishonest and they do sorry work! Don’t take your cars to them. Unless you want problems. Sorry customer service. The owner is a women and she has her brother running the place he is sorry! Will not be back!!!
Called the place they agree to refund my money.
Went in told him I was here to get refund. Her brother told me I know who you are and to go somewhere else in the future. I told him I’ve already done that and I wouldn’t be back ever!

I’m a new customer of Elam Kwik Kar in Balch Springs, TX. I was hearing a chirping and grinding noise in my car, and Auto Zone, along with two other mechanics said that it was either the alternator, or the alternator bearing. Took my car to Elam Kwik Kar and the white mechanic (not sure of his name), pointed out the problem which was the a/​c compressor that had a screw loose, LOL! Jose’, the other mechanic, tightened it, and I haven’t heard the noise since. Great service, caring folks (Maria) is the best, and oil changes are very reasonable. They have my business from now on.
