Founded in 1869, West Laurel Hill Cemetery is a non-profit and non-denominational cemetery located just outside of Philadelphia. West Laurel Hill offers a funeral home, cemetery, crematory and reception areas all in one convenient location, as well as a section for green or natural burials. The Cemetery will also soon be opening a section for Jewish families.
History
Established in 1869.
West Laurel Hill is a sister cemetery to Laurel Hill Cemetery, located in the East Falls section of Philadelphia. Laurel Hill was America’s second Rural Cemetery and is a National HIstoric Landmark.
