Had Scott work on a couple of my bikes, have had nothing wrong since then, doesn’t matter what you have as far as a bike goes, everyone that works there all know hoe to take care of clients, will always refer people to them.

These guys do all the maintenance on my Japanese bikes. Shop rates are fair and parts costs are competitive. They are racers, so the work is always immaculate. Hell, they didn’t even give me crap about fixing something I screwed up out of stupidity. They’ve also opened the shop after hours for me once so I could bring the tow truck straight over with a flat. They also remember you when you call. He still remembers the bikes I don’t even have anymore. A+ service. Don’t take your bike to the stealership. Take it to Scott.

I’ve been riding through California for two weeks. On my second to last day I stopped for lunch in Bakersfield when I gave my Ducati Multistrada a look over I notice cords showing on the rear tire. I was trying to make it to SD, but decided to not risk it driving through LA with a questionable tire. Quick Google search and I found the best. I called and they said come on in and they’ll take care of it even though they didn’t have a touring tire in stock. Bottom line is they calmly took the bike into the shop while the owner found a tire at a local shop. He then drove me in his car to pick up the tire and back to the shop while his tech prepped the bike. Find that level of service… anywhere. Remember they just met me and answered the call for help from a fellow motorcyclist. $ 50 and I was out the door in an hour. I tried to give $ 100 and he wouldn’t take it. Restored my faith in the small shop business.

Recently my father and I had an idea to restore my grandfathers motorcycle he had bought new back in ’75.
We started by driving around town walking in a bunch of shops and asking, they all turned us away.
We pulled up to R. Tillery, walked in the door and before we could ask if he would work on our bike, he lit up with excitement that we had an RD350 sitting in the truck. He did some quick research and decided to take on the project.
He researched parts and put together a quote for us and we got started. During process he kept us up to date, kept us excited, as he was also excited.
The dudes a magician with bikes, he turned the bike from a garage paper weight, to a beautiful riding bike.
He went above and beyond what we asked for, and did it for less than he quoted.
I highly recommend his shop, he and his guy are 100% professional and friendly. I’d give this place 6 stars if I could.

This is a shop of sweethearts. I was stuck in buttonwillow with a flat tire and called up R tillery in the morning. I’m a newbie, so I was understandably worried about the outcome and upset about such an obstacle on my first long distance ride.
So two lovely young men drove over in a pickup and towed my bike. When we got to the shop, my tire was fixed in no time (the air valve flew off, simple fix) and I was suggested to get the second one done as well to prevent a similar disaster, so I did.
I ended up paying $ 20. Every single person I interacted with was so kind and pleasant. Way to cheer up a girl who freaked out in the middle of nowhere! Thanks guys, and keep up the good work :-)

If you bring your sport bike anywhere else your a fool ! Don’t be a fool !

Those of you who live in Bakersfield, count yourselves blessed to have a motorcycle shop of this caliber nearby. I was on my way from Northern California to Southern California when I had the unfortunate experience of a major engine malfunction in my motorcycle. Thankfully, I called Scott, the owner of this fine astonishment. He told me that he would take a look at my problem right away. After spending about three hours trying to diagnose the problem personally, he finally told me that he would not be able to get it done that day. So I rented a car and continued my journey south. He called me a few hours later, hours after they had closed the shop and told me that he had stayed late, diagnosed and fixed the problem. I turned around and drove back to Bakersfield where he met me at the rental car lot so I could drop off the car. He then drove me back to his shop where I test rode the motorcycle to find it running better than it had been in a long time. Then on top of everything else he discounted his labor rate to offset the cost of having to rent the vehicle.
Whether you are finding yourself in my situation or have the privilege of living close enough to call this your home repair shop, do yourself a huge favor and get anything you need done on your motorcycle done here. Scott is not only honest and competent he is fair and caring too. It is extremely rare to find this level of quality and service at any motorcycle shop. I wish I could rate it higher than five stars.

These guys are top notch. The only folks I have and will ever let work on my r1! Honest, fair and everything anyone could ask for in a mechanic! He knows his stuff fair and square…

Scott is the guy you want working on your bikes.
I was at Buttonwillow racing, having one hell of a bad weekend, with a bike that was plagued with mechanical issues. Mid day Saturday I had to seek out a clutch. Scott said he had some parts in stock for my bike, so I went on down.
He was super busy. I expected to wait around for quite awhile. As soon as I approached the door, Scott asked if I was the racer from Buttonwillow, and dropped what he was doing. He dug up more than what I needed to get running again, and even told me exactly how to make the repair trackside.
And how’s this for style points — when Scott wants to race, he doesn’t spend a day packing bags, gear, tools, loading a truck, sleeping in crappy hotels and hot deserts. No, Scott throws his leg over his bike, rides on down to the track, wins his race, and rides off into the sunset. This is the man who inspired the phrase «like a boss». I swear I saw some ladies swoon. That’s right, swoon.
I feel privileged to have met Scott, and you bet your ass his shop has my full confidence.

Scott always makes room for my bike, even though its not the type he normally works on (Vic Kingpin) Very professional, quick and most of all quality work which seems to be rare these days… this is where you need to go for moto work in my humble oppinion

This place is awesome. I’ve had my bike for about 2 ½ years now and Scott has always done a great job. They mainly work on street bikes. Husband wife couple work the shop. This is the only place to be taking you bike in Bakersfield. All the larger shops are a pain to deal with and rude.

I’ve gone to Scott’s shop a number of times over the last few years and a paragraph can’t explain how awesome their service is. Everyone I’ve dealt with there is great, they run an excellent operation, and you can hear their passion for bikes in their voice. Like a ton of their other customers, they’ve helped me out in a pinch more than once and their obsession for getting things right the first time is obvious.
This is one of those places that is truly unique and it’s one that you’ll love giving your business to.

This is almost a year over due.
I was on a road trip and woke up to find my rear tire about flat. I limped into R Tillery and Scott pretty much dropped everything to get me back on the road. I am not a sport rider and drive a R1100GS. no problem at R Tillery.
Not only did he take care of my tire quickly. I had a good time shooting the breeze with him. Was real grateful and left with a tank top for the lady back home.

I’ve been to a lot of bike shops and have never met a more experienced and helpful guy. I have taken my bike in to see Scott multiple times (often in emergency situations) and he has helped me out on the spot.
My first time visiting the shop I was having trouble with vapor lock and he have me some tips on how to fix it easily at home free of charge. He also informed me of my loose cam chain based on the rattling noise. Being an inexperienced bike I would have never known.
My second time was after some of my wiring had shorted out, causing my battery to lose charging capability. I wheeled my bike over to the shop later that night and left it outside for him after leaving him a voice message on the shops answering machine. I got a call back the next day (a Saturday, mind you) from Scott saying that he got my message and my bike is now in the garage and would be finished by the end of the week. The problem was fixed at a really good price. couldn’t be happier.
Third time visiting was after my chain had flown off and I needed a new master link. I went into the shop after their normal hours and he hooked me up. He didn’t have a master link in my chain size, but he was able to grind part of my chain siding down so that it would fit safely until my new chain arrived.
I’ll be taking my bike in later this week to get my cam chain tensioner replaced. I trust 100% that the job will be done well and timely.
I can’t emphasize enough how good these guys are at their job. It’s good to have a bike shop around that treat you like a friend and not some pesky customer. After being in Bakersfield for only 3 months they already know me by name.
Best mechanic I have ever dealt with. Best customer serice I’ve ever received, hands down.

Scott is an awesome mechanic and will try everything he can until he fixes your motorcycle. Great shop atmosphere. Very good prices. All around one of the best shops I have ever been to by far. I will be going there for a long time to come.

Scott is a fair and reasonable guy. I’ve taken my bike in for diagnostics, repairs and estimate after being hit by a motorist. Everytime I go there, I feel like I don’t have to worry about anything.
Scott, Nick and the rest of the crew, are kick back, get the work done right, and at the cheapest price in town. You’d be a fool to take your bike anywhere else. These guys just want to get the riders back on their bikes asap.

This shop is the most fair and reasonable motorcycle repair shop in town. I give this establishment 5 stars.
