We have a large play area and retail space to serve all Hobby game needs!

We have access to most if not all Hobby Games and supplies on the market. We will do everything we can to get what you want.

We provide ordering with no up charges or shipping, some items can arrive dependent on stock within 2 to 3 days from our suppliers and can give generous discounts for pre orders of upcoming items. Ask us and we will be happy to quote!

We Buy and Sell collecitble cards, miniatures and used hobby games and have our extensive inventory on our online website for ease of ordering or to submit lists to us for buying.

We are advanced tournament organizers for many of the most popular hobby games and organize and run large events in the local area.

History

Established in 2003.

Paladin’s Game Castle or Paladin Gaming or known to most as just «Paladin» started on April 1st, 2003 in Bakersfield CA

Paladin Started as a dream to bring to the Bakersfield area a full line game store with a place to play. Bakersfield has a population of over 350,000 people just in the city limits and has an excellent potential for further growth in the games industry.

Paladins Game Castle has been in operation for over 10 years.

Recent changes have seen us moving into a large online business with our newly redesigned website and ordering system.

We specialize in CCG Card singles and Miniatures but we do have access to most if not all hobby game items.

We promote and run large events in offsite locations and are professional tournament organizers.

It’s very much the game store that look for. Been going to it since it opened the current location. I love it. The owners are courteous and knowledgable in their product and the staff are great to talk to.
They don’t try to upsale you, which I appreciate. If you’re looking for something specific, they’ll help you get that item.
Their MTG events are amazing and even though I don’t play, I enjoy popping into the store just to see the excitement and feel the energy.
It’s nice to have a store feel like family.

A great asset to the gaming community– and it’s been around a long time. All sorts of board and card games, as well as the accompanying accessories (sleeves, boxes, plushies, dice, etc). Lots of space for free play and tournaments. Employees are super friendly and helpful. FNM always has a great turn out, but there are also lots of D&D players and L5R players.

I first went to paladins almost 2 and a half years ago. Walking into the store (used to be on white lane), I remember how nice and helpful the workers were. I returned a few more times before dropping out of the gaming scene for a while.
When I did return, my first stop was back to Paladins. I wanted to see if things had changed which they had! The store had moved but their events of FNM were in full swing. I singed up with my good friend and couldn’t believe it. Organized, mobile station to transact business, and two of the people I remember made a lasting impact on me. Both of the owners host the Friday Night Magic and put a lot of effort to make it run as smooth as it does. This review is as much a five star rating of them as it is for their store. People come from out of town to be apart of the events they hold. Its no wonder. You don’t get what you pay for here, You get above and beyond.

Great store staffed with knowledgable game enthusiasts. I highly recommend their tournaments and other events– its nice to be welcomed by name after just a couple Friday night magics and that friendly vibe is infectious, so be ready to make some new friends. Be warned that they can be hard to find as the store isn’t visible from the street.
