We are Educating the future Animator, Video Game Designer, and TV /​Film Producer.

Our Staff has been hand picked by Brad Pollard, a Bakersfield local, who has been in the animation and video game industry for over 30 years. Having worked on games such as Epic Mickey, Call of Duty, Age of Mythology, Full Spectrum Warrior, Carmen San Diego 2000, NFL Gameday, & Sorcery, to name a few, Brad has experience teaching and directing the creation of a variety of games.

We teach workshops at all times of the day and on weekends for anyone who is interested in the animation, video game, or TV /​film industry.

Anyone aged 12+ can come, learn, and build their skill sets towards a future career in the exciting Animation, Video Game, or TV /​Film Production field.

History

Established in 2013.

We are located in the Historic JCs Place building on the corner of 19th and Chester.

Co-​Founder: Kelly Blanton was Kern County Superintendent of Schools from 1979 — 1999. He has educated, inspired and encouraged students from all backgrounds to dream big and achieve their goals.

Co-​Founder: Mark Abernathy is a long time Bakersfield resident and influential business man.

Art & Animation Director: Brad Pollard graduated from Highland High and then to Fresno State to complete his education. He worked for the Bakersfield Californian and the Orange County Register where he was discovered by Disney. 30+ year veteran of the animation/​video game/​TV & film production industries, Brad has positively influenced over 43 games and worked on countless films and TV Shows.

Producer /​Coordinator: Rebecca Feldstein graduated from Centennial High and then went to Chico State to receive a Masters Degree in Art History. She has been organizing and scheduling since birth and has a passion for Art
