It’s Your Party Event Rents

All over your website you state that your office closes at 6 p.m. I came in looking for a couple rental items i needed on a Tuesday May 26^th at 5 p.m. for my event out of town. When I opened the door the girl there told me «oh we are closed». I told her I wasn’t aware since the sign said you were open and the website states you close at 6 p.m. She said she was just ironing and that you always close at 5 p.m. I asked if she had some form of brochure or list of rental items with prices she said «No» just what is online. Very misleading hours and the the girl there had no customer service.

It’s your party staff and owner Jeannine made my decision in using their services an easy one. First of all Jeannine is very knowledgeable and passionate about her business and it truly shows, I came in with ideas of what I wanted and she setup a table in her beautiful showroom and within 10 – 15 minutes she brought my ideas to life, I was very Impressed and the prices fit into my budget for rentals. I booked with its your party and couldn’t wait for my event. She is well known in Bakersfield and referred me to a few other vendors for food, dj, and lighting services. AMAZING!!! when the day finally arrived her friendly staff delivered the items and we checked off the list item for item to insure I had everything. I can’t say thank you enough for everything you and your knowledgeable staff did. I highly recomend it’s your party for all your rental needs. Its your party isn’t your average rental company, they are so much more. I had some things that were actually custom made as well and it was perfect if you think your ideas are crazy she can definitely make it happen. :)

Jeanine did some a wonderful job with our wedding reception, I’m still in awe of how everything turned out! We loved working with her. She was very responsive and so nice about all of our last minute decisions. One of our events got cancelled very last minute and she was even kind enough to adjust our costs accordingly. I highly recommend her for any events! She’s the best!

When I met with Jeannine last year to view her show room and review her inventory, I was very impressed… at first… She was friendly and knowledgeable and had many options to choose from. I liked her so I used her company for my backyard/​garden wedding. She gave me a quote and told me when the items would be delivered and that they would be set up and broken down by her staff as well. Everything seemed pretty simple and easy.
I did some research regarding the prices of buying versus rentals. I was able to buy floor length tables cloths for LESS than it cost to rent and purchased gorgeous 24K gold rimmed china for the same price as she rents the most basic dish (i have since resold most of the dishes and broken even). Her selection and pricing was no longer very impressive, to me. So when I used her company I only order tables and chairs.
It was day the before the wedding and the delivery men came late and refused to set up the tables and chairs. Instead they were left folded in stacks. In addition to Jeannine’s false «set-​up» guarantee, they brought the wrong amount of tables and the wrong size! I ordered ten 8ft banquet tables, they brought fifteen! The excess was quite a heavy hassle. Also, there were no 6ft banquet table that was to be out sweet heart table! Maybe I should have counted before they left but I’m a 100 lb. girl with older parents who already had trouble setting up the tables and the delivery men were quick to leave, anyway. To top it all off, they are closed on weekends! So after they dropped of my order LATE on Friday. They had already closed and do not reopen until Monday. That seems a little bit odd for a party rental company, especially when most events occur on weekends.

Honestly, I was so excited to use them but it wasn’t that great. Seemed that the owner wanted to talk most about herself than my actual wedding. Was not impressed with the delivery services or professionalism of that at all. Loved the selection but I didn’t love the service.

I didn’t know there was a party rental place in my neck of the woods of Bakersfield. I found them using Unilocal and I’m so glad I did!
I called on a friday, ordered my reasonably priced items of a couple of canopies and 25 chairs, then I asked if they deliver, and they said yes! For an additional price of $ 50 for the delivery, I got all my items not only delivered on time, but with friendly service.
I had never before used a party rental place, and I am positive that I will recommend It’s your party rentals to anyone who might need the service.

I planned a back yard baby shower and found all the help I needed to take it from cute to amazing. Jeannie was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She was also extremely flexible with the schedule to make sure I was happy. I will definitely be using her services again. You can’t go wrong with Jeannie!
