G & J Grooming

So I called this place last Wednesday to find out how much it would be for my dog for a bath and cut. He asked me how much my dog weighs so I tell him Around 60lbs and he says it’s going to be $ 50. So I told him awesome and set up and appointment. When I took my dog into his appointment the guy tells me that my dog is more the 40lbs and told him yes he is and he replied that’s not what you told me on the phone. So I was like whatever I don’t feel like arguing with you. So when my dog was ready to be picked up my mom went and got him and told the guy I was sitting right next to my son when he told you he was 60lbs you need to honor the price you told us originally. The guy refused to so my mom paid him and told him she would never come back again. So I though you all should what a shady business this is

They did a awesome job on our Maltese Butters. No complaints at all. He looks great and seems happy with the work that they performed. $ 40 dollars for a full groom is a great deal if you ask me and I will continue to do business with these people. I would have given them 5 stars but this is why I gave them three. When I made it home I misplaced my wallet and called G&J since it was my last stop and they had no interest in helping me. I just asked them to look on the counter or right directly in front since that where I parked and they act liked I wanted them to send out a whole search party.

Took my poodle in to get a fresh new look and they delivered. The employees were friendly and made me feel comfortable leaving my baby there. They took him in same day even without an appointment. He had knots in his hair when I took him in and I didn’t get a lecture like the last commenter. Perhaps I didn’t get an earful because I explained why it was so unruly though. I will definitely be taking him back and recommending anyone I know to them. Thank you for giving my baby such great treatment.

The girls here do a very nice job with my pup. Nicely priced to! I don’t have to pay $ 80 for a groom like some of the big name pet groomers. They aren’t crazy busy all the time, every time I’ve taken my dog in, I’ve called that morning for availability and the get him in. Most of the time they will put a cute little bandana on my doggy when I pick him up and he loves it! The only reason I didn’t give them five stars is because if your dog is matted they will give you the stink eye and lecture you on how to have brush them. Lol They actually made me feel really bad once. Other than that I love this place :)
