I came up to live in Bakersfield for school but I still traveled back home quiet often so I never changed over any of my medical and dental stuff. But after being up here for 5 years it was getting more and more difficult for me to make appts. Finally I bit the bullet and transfered my dental services to Dr. Krauss. I am happy I did. He is a genuine and kind hearted person that makes you feel like you are apart of his family. You can tell that he has hired the same type of people to be apart of his staff. I fear going to the dentist, to the point where I would rather work in a sewage system then go to the dentist. But the experience with Dr. Krauss was not threatening and comfortable. I am happy I chose him to be my dentist, this is someone I could see my family coming to for a long time.

I love Bakersfield Smile by design. They really take care of you! I got my teeth cleaned and they really took the time to make sure they were clean and that I was comfortable. Dr Krauss is always awesome as well. He greets you with a smile and remembers things about you. Great office. Highly recommended.

Dr. Krauss brings his expertise of dentistry to the highest level! He can do it all and fast! Full service, root canal, filling, crown everything! He and his staff are highly trained professionals who do not mess around or give anything but top notch customer care and service at extremely reasonable prices. No pain, full mouth crown work done in record time. This doctor is on the level, very HONEST no trickery! In a word GENIUS!

Helps to get you appointments in a hurry if needed and keeps clients informed about everything with a great attitude and she takes care of all insurance worries without bothering you! Like a vacation! The people he uses to make the crowns are talented artists! Their team makes sure to get it right by consulting with you while you are in the dentist chair so you don’t have to make another appointment or drive anywhere! So convenient!
I will bring my children here and suggest fixing your smile before considering any other work first! I researched Dentists all around California and searched for the best, there is no one better than Dr. Krauss!

I wish I could leave no stars but that’s not an option. Dr. Krauss is rude and so is his Blond Mistress at the front desk. I went in for some work and received a quote for some implants, It was over 12K for three implants. When I was unsatisfied he dropped the price if I would agree to do a testimonial, but the work I wanted done and how I wanted it done he refused to do. He wanted to add an extra tooth in my mouth that doesn’t even belong. I reluctantly went back in just to get my broken partial fixed and when I asked for a price they could not tell me one until it came back from the lab. When I was persistent on getting a price before I left needless to say he came out acting like Mr. Macho chest puffed out and told me to get out of his office. I would never go back nor refer anyone to go here.
