Ali Pishvaei Oriental Rug Expert Service

Be careful with this vendor. I drove 70 miles with a car full of Karastan area rugs (three 9×12s, one 5×8, and one 3×5) to meet with Mr. Pishvaei’s at his business location in Bakersfield. The business address is a converted residential home that Mr. Pishvaei referred to as his «office» and invited me in. I asked Ali where he actually washed and dried his customer’s rugs, and he told me that it was 5 miles away at another location. I asked if I could go to this location where my rugs would be serviced, but Mr. Pishvaei very gruffly said NO in a dismissive and rude manner and walked away. Why would I turnover my rugs of approximately $ 10,000 in retail value to a complete stranger who would charge me over one-​thousand dollars ($ 1133.21) to wash and dry my rugs without being allowed to see his service location and operation? Why is Mr. Pishvaei hiding his service location from customers?
