SERIOUSLY, DO NOT RENT from this shady, unprofessional and, borderline, illegally operated company. I don’t even know where to begin…
On our move in day, we went into the office to sign the lease. When I asked to use the restroom, I was told that I could walk down the street to the 7 – 11 since they did not have a restroom for the «public.» The whole lease signing was uncomfortable and my husband and we treated like an inconvenience — the whole experience was horrifying and unprofessional.
We signed the lease and then went to the home to begin moving in — we were relocating from Sacramento and had only that day to move. When we got to the house, it was a COMPLETE pigsty. The carpet was disgusting, the laminate floor was dirty and torn. There was mold in the laundry room, no walls were painted, the baseboards were black… I could go on and on. The maintenance man was at the home and was trying to fix it up, he had NO IDEA that the renters were moving in that day. The house WAS NOT the same house that we saw in the advertisement for rent.
After our move in, I emailed (you are STRONGLY encouraged to not call the company, everything is done online) the rental company to remove a LARGE pile of garbage that was left from the previous renter. It was SUCH a huge ordeal to get the garbage removed. It was finally removed two months later.
As our one year lease came to an end, we emailed and called the rental company for our options (month to month, new lease, etc.). We were never able to get a hold of anyone or get a return call and/​or email. We were told that someone would call us within the next 30 days…30 days??? We didn’t have 30 days to wait for a call, our lease was up in about 45 days. Nonetheless, we sent our 30 days notice.
Upon our move out, we had the home cleaned — in addition to our cleanliness, the home was left substantially cleaner and nicer (we painted and scrubbed the whole house) than when we moved in. We even asked the owner of the company to come over to look at the house because we wanted to maximize our deposit return. The owner came over to the house, looked at it and literally said, «it looks great. I’d recommend cleaning the inside of al of the window panes… that’s it.» Which we promptly did.
We left the home SPOTLESS, gave the rental company our new address and waited for our deposit check to come in the mail.
The check eventually came (late by California Consumer Affair Laws) and they had taken half of our deposit ($ 900.00) for «cleaning.» We called and emailed the company for an itemized receipt of all expenses associated with the deduction of our deposit — you WOULD NOT believe what a SCAM this is: we called the phone number on the housekeeping «receipt,» and, the phone number is the phone number of the rental company. The rental company paid themselves for «cleaning» the home and charged us $ 45/​hr. for a FULL WEEK (40 hours) of cleaning, in addition to several other made up charges. It’s truly unbelievable and disheartening that a company can legally run like this. This company charged us $ 45/​hr. for cleaning, however, when we were moving into the home (the day that the maintenance man was there, surprised by our move in), the lady who came and was paid to clean the home (while we were there, watching, as we moved in) spent a total of 3 hours «cleaning» a complete pigsty. So, we know that they did not have someone spend a full 40 hours to clean an already clean house after our move out.
This company is terrible and we have asked for a return of our deposit that they stole from us. Of course, we are ignored and have never had a response from the rental company. Now, we have filed a small claims case and have to spend MORE time to get our money back.
I strongly encourage everyone to not use this company for any rental needs, it’s truly the most unprofessional and unethical company I have ever had dealing with. Please please please, save yourself the hassle — DONT DO IT!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you need a property management co for your house. They did several shady things not to mention not friendly at all. I will however give them the one star for finding good renters for us, but didn’t make up for all the shady incidences, I broke contract with them just to get rid of them!

I rented from this company and they were the worst landlords I had ever had. They promised to fix everything prior to my signing the contact and moving in but it was a different story when I was a Tenn ant. They refused to take care of a prior pest infestation, perform proper and timely repairs (months later 3 to 6) and repairs still were not done. The pointed fingers and blamed each other and vendors instead of fixing the problem. When I left I had to fight for the return of my deposit. If I didn’t have prior experience and I knowledge with real estate law they would have taken advantage of me and knowingly broken numerous landlord tenant laws.

Very pleased with the entire renting process. We do not have the time or the experience to manage our rental and they did a great job advertising, finding renters and taking care of improvements with their vendor resources. Look forward to a long standing relationship.
