Great place to hit for standard diner fair if you are traveling the back roads down to Florida Gulf from Georgia. Although their Patty Melt left a LOT to be desired, everyone else enjoyed their food and the service was good. It is like a Waffle House or Huddle House but privately owned by a local. Support small business, skip the fast food drive through, and check this place out.

I ordered lunch with a side of hash browns. They were so greasy I couldn’t eat them and told the waitress. She told me that the next time I come in I should order them dry and then they wouldn’t put so much butter on them. I didn’t think it was butter and there won’t be a next time.

Great«old school» diner! We were here for breakfast and the food and service were tops. Pancakes(fluffy) scrambled eggs(not dry at all) and very tasty sausage patties. Eggs over easy(perfect) very tasty sugar-cured ham(and lots of it) and good grits. Long open kitchen along one side, comfy booths, old stools bolted to the floor at the counter with wooden seats and cast iron backs. Only down side is the view which is exclusively of a gas station.

Lovely, local diner with typical country cooking… They serve everything on the menu all day. I had the country fried steak and my husband had the breakfast sampler. We enjoyed everything and the waitress was courteous and friendly.

I think I saw Dave W. on the cooks shirt as I left. He is right about the small town thing but you would think this could be a better place to eat. It is like a Waffle House but worse and I love the W.H. I am not in the restaurant business and never would be. I am however a regular restaurant patron in several towns and states.

I’m not sure what restaurant the person who posted above went to… And although the post was quite humorous, it doesn’t resemble the restaurant I have eaten at in Bainbridge. This is my daughters favorite restaurant and we go there at least once a week. The last time we went in, the score posted on the door was a 92. Best place for wings and salads in Bainbridge, or burgers, or breakfast.(The hash browns are out of this world!)
