Going to a TED event was something I had wanted to do for quite some time. Every video and speaker I have seen (mostly through their YouTube videos online) was so inspiring and interesting. I heard about the TedX Ideas in Motion event from a friend and was SO excited I purchased tickets almost immediately.
The structure of the event was four hours broken down into three speaking series of three sessions (9 in total) with intermission in between each session. The theme of the speaking series was ideas in motion and the speakers talked on various subjects from Depression in Africa to a selection from a one woman play through an artist speaking on the background of her angel wing art and how far she reached with her art. We parked close by in the public parking structure and walked over to the event. We checked in and got name tags and a nice goodie bag. We easily found seats and enjoy ourselves at the event.
