Omg got food poisoning and will never eat there again, and if you don’t want to throw up as well than I think that you should go and eat at the phở house instead, that has food that will please everyone vs this only makes you sick.

It was clean & quick with friendly service. Everything was heavy on the onions vs other flavors/spices but a decent lunch for the price. It’s a large spot with outdoor seating with what I’d guess is a lively weekend night cantina. Fun spot to pop in for a bite while on the island.

My wife, 3 kids and myself stopped in for dinner. They were absolutely amazing. The server brought the 3 kids food way ahead of ours which was greatly appreciated with 3 young hungry kids. They loved everything on their plate. My wife and I both ordered the full size Carne asada. Ohhh my gosh. The skirt steak just melted I’m our mouth. it was one of the best we ever had. We order the same thing at every mexican restaurant, it’s usually pretty standard. Usually average or slightly above average but this place just nocked our socks off. It was so good. I can’t wait to go back.

I was horrified to hear this morning at work that my boss, who I had recommended this restaurant to, was ripped off last month by a waiter here. She told me she had taken a friend to dinner at Casa Rojas. They racked up bit of as bill, as the Italian margaritas and the food are excellent. She was covering the bill with a credit card. Her friend offered to pay the tip in cash, $ 20.00. My boss reconciled her receipts yesterday and the restaurant charge listed on her credit card statement was $ 20.00 more than her receipt. She said that means the waiter tipped himself $ 40.00 on a $ 100.00 order. So, if you go there, you had better watch your credit card receipt and make sure to scribble out the tip line if you opt to leave a cash tip.

I couldn’t be more disappointed with the food they served me at Casa Rojas. Even a week later, I’m still grossed out. I should have sent the meal back and walked out, but that’s just not my personality. The meat in my fajita burrito tasted gamey bordering on rotten. The rest of the ingredients were flavorless. I gave it three bites and pushed the plate away. Those three bites left me feeling nauseous for the entire next day. My wife had a salad that used many of the same ingredients, and had the same disgusting flavor. The waiter was nice, but very inattentive considering how few tables he was serving. He didn’t bother to inquiry why all of our plates were hardly touched when we asked for the check. To be clear, I went to Casa Rojas with low expectations. I had been there before a couple times over a year ago and new the food was mediocre. This time the food was downright nasty. I will never be back and caution anyone to avoid their food. I strongly question the validity of any 5 star reviews and don’t know how Casa Rojas remains in business. I guest it’s just another case of having a captive island clientele.

Very yummy mexican food! I love the fajitas, there’s more than enough to take home for lunch the next day. Service is always good.

Casa Rojas is one of my favorite places to eat on the island. The food is delicious and affordable, and the staff is very friendly. I especially recommend the Juan’s Burrito with a house margarita! My one suggestion would be to extend the happy hour past 6:30 pm(maybe to 7?). I regularly take the 5:30 ferry from Seattle and have to rush to make the happy hour in time.

Service was extremely slow even tho there was only 4 tables of customers at 8pm. The kitchen crew started taking rugs out the door next to our table blowing cold wind at our table blowing things off twice. We then switched tables and a couple of their employees frowned about us moving. The food wasn’t that good. chicken fajitas was bland and the rice was clumped together. Carnitas had a strange taste and not tender. Very disappointed as their menu has changed and it seems so has their food and service from what we have previously experienced. We will be going to another place in the future.

We live on Bainbridge and have dined at Casa Rojas more than a few times. Tonight we had a server we had never seen before. She was awful! She was also serving friends of hers at the next table and treated them like they were her only customers. Each trip to or from our table was interrupted by a long, boisterous conversation with her friends. After I asked for another server, she told me that I was rude! It turned out that she is the owner’s wife. The food there is mediocre anyway so I won’t ever go back. Having said that, upstairs is our absolute favorite restaurant — Spice Route. They have delicious Indian food prepared to your liking at a very reasonable cost. If you want good Mexican food, try San Carlos on Madison… VERY good!

Cases Rojas was great. Not sure why they are only a 3.5 stars. While visiting the island we Unilocaled all if the local restaurants. Most were only 3.5 which made me feel a little uneasy. I was suspect of Casa Rojas because of the rating. We loved it. I had the cheese enchilada and Piccadillo tamale. My husband had the Juan burrito. We enjoyed our meals. Price was good. Restaurant very clean and great service.

New favorite on the island… excellent chicken mole enchiladas, chile relleno, freshly squeezed lime margaritas. Burritos were gigantic… all fresh ingredients. Service was top notch, too. Perfect for weeknights, casual dinners with family and friends. We’ll definitely be returning as regulars.

My favorite restaurant on Bainbridge Island. The food is excellent and the service is exceptional. Wait staff like Jose are very friendly and accommodating. The menu contains many great choices too.

Service lacking, food was cold. 12.00 $ For 5 street tacos and only enough meat to fill one of them. Much more onions and cilantro than meat, other dish ordered again was cold.

Amazing authentic Mexican food! We are from Miami and couldn’t believe how delicious this family-owned restaurant food was! Must try!

It’s not like they have Rick Bayless in the kitchen, dudes. It’s Mexican food and it isn’t bad. In fact, I like the Cantina specials but that’s not the POINT! The point is that they have 100oz BEER! For $ 28 they will fill up a big personal keg sleeve tower thing that has a tap on the side and they put on the table. It’s SO great. They’ll fill it up with 100oz of any beer on tap-we had the Modelo, which is fantastic-slip a little floating ice pack in there to keep it cold and BOOM! Ya got beer on the table with frosted glasses… I felt special. It also made Guardians of the Galaxy about 20x funnier than it probably was. I’ll have to go see it again. I’ve been here to see the Sea Hawks games and they have pretty good deals on game days so that’s a good reason to go. And the GIANTBEER…

The only thing worse than the food here was the service. My wife and 2 kids and I were seated almost immediately. We each ordered a drink and waited about 15 minutes for chocolate milk and beers to arrive. Then, we waited no less than another 10 minutes for someone to come and take our orders. fortunately, we had the requisite chips and salsa. Then, we ordered, and it took at least another 25 minutes for the food to arrive. I was hoping that since it took so long, perhaps it was made from scratch and worth the wait. Not the case. We got the tacos carbon, which were soggy, and the«steak» tasted like canned meat. not sure if they boiled low quality steak to try and make it soft, or were actually using potted meat, but it was disgusting. And overpriced. I will never, ever return here.

Casa Rojas, is a MUST every time I come to the Island to visit with my daughter! Their food is the best, and their staff is out of this world! We always feel like family when we go there!
