Established in 1997.

Patricia Anahata Little LMP began treating clients in 1997 in California’s beautiful Napa & Sonoma counties. Her expertise with energy healing and spiritual emergence created a peak demand at retreat centers throughout the State. She relocated to Seattle in 2008 and has had a busy practice since opening her offices in Seattle and Bainbridge Island, WA. Many of Anahata’s clients have been «given up» by their doctor – they have been told to «live with their pain». These clients soon find out the hope of living pain free becomes a reality. What Anahata can not treat with her own hands, she knows the specialists in alternative and complimentary medicine that can join the healing team and enhance the wholistic healing for the client.

Patricia Anahata Little, LMP is an educator and healing practitioner in Seattle Washington enjoying a successful career working with breath and movement intervention therapies to restore function to the brain and body, and bring peace to the mind. Anahata invites you to experience the healing possible with neurodevelopmental movement and brain based neuromuscular therapies.

Since 1994, Anahata has been exploring the vast realms of healing with masters of physical science and quantum mysticism – physical therapists, complimentary medicine doctors, psychological and psychiatric explorers, indigenous shamans and, most recently, Rhythmic Movement therapists – all of us on the quest to dive deep, heal ourselves, and serve our fellow humans. Can’t say much for the massage technique but I called to inquire about massage styles and someone picked up (assume it was the owner) who answered with a name but no introduction of «Bodhisattva» so it took a while and some back and forth before I realized it was the correct business. I understand that communication over the phone is not the same as in person, but she exuded the effect that I was an a-​hole wasting her time. She got to finish up with «I only massage women.» Not a good way to run a business.

Google search after google search had yielded hundreds of massage therapists doing «deep tissue» work, yet each visit to these massage therapists – while they felt nice in the moment – still left me still in constant pain. A year ago, I was in such intense pain in my neck, shoulders and upper back that I didn’t think I would be able to enjoy my upcoming vacation. That is how I showed up on Anahata’s doorstep on Bainbridge Island a year ago hoping against hope that she could help.
After two hours she poured my back onto the ferry with advice about posture, direction on exercises to maintain the work and an appointment two weeks later in Seattle. Since then, not only do I not have any pain, but through regular appointments she has slowly and carefully been unwinding years of bad habits, stress and life that takes its toll on body structure and mechanics – and can impact overall quality of life.
Anahata’s work is deeply healing – both physically and emotionally. A session can range from gentle cranial work to intense soft tissue work to movement retraining with deep, rhythmic breathing. Somehow, she seems to always know exactly what is needed and I always leave feeling more aligned and grounded than when I arrived. But the true test are the changes to my body over time. While I still have a long way to go on my healing journey, today I am completing a 4 week long fitness boot camp, working out intensely 3 – 4 days per week. This would not have been possible a year ago. She’s the best!

Anahata is an incredible massage therapist, a true professional with a talent for healing, and a dedication to seeing her patients leave better than they arrived. After only one visit the crippling, nauseating, sharp, agonizing nerve pain in my neck was vastly reduced; before seeing Anahata, I couldn’t turn my neck to the left at all, and after only one hour on the table I had almost complete range of motion without all the nasty pain.
Bodhisattva Healing Arts on Bainbridge Island is a beautiful studio, with a welcoming and comfortable ambiance. From the moment I walked in the door, Anahata was professional and courteous, full of humor and wisdom. During the treatment, she used various techniques and communicated clear directions, offered anatomical education regarding my injury, and afterward referred me to other physicians who could contribute to my healing process. (Dr. Stewart, of Steward Family Chiropractic in Edmonds, for NUCCA adjustments to my neck.)
Her website is full of additional information, and I feel confident in referring everyone in acute and chronic pain to her practice. I will be back!

Patricia is a true healer. And how fortunate we are to have her on Bainbridge Island and Seattle. I came to Patricia with severe neck pain and TMJ from several car accidents. I have also had 3 back surgeries and plenty of metal and rods in my back. So between the neck pain and the back pain and without body treatment for years, I was in severe pain and discomfort. I have had 5 treatments with Patricia. My neck and face pain has reduced significantly, so much so I am truly jumping for joy. My back is much better and I walked out of her office the other day and actually skipped through the Safeway. Patricia uses intense body work treatments that are intuitive, highly skills and exceptional in all ways. If you have pain from an accident, chronic pain or illness, Patricia is a «must» to help your body reach best equilibrium and heal. Patricia, thank you for sharing your gift with me and my body. I feel incredibly blessed to have found you and look forward to a continued healing partnership with you.

I have been wearing expensive custom orthotics with sturdy indoor and outdoor shoes for my plantar fasciitis for 12 years. My feet would cramp or flare up easily, and I could never run more than a mile or sprint uphill. I am an active individual who goes to boot camps regularly and other active activities so I have been accumulating quite a bit of tight muscles over the years. You can imagine the look of my face when I first came into the massage office for pain treatment and was told that I should get rid of the orthotics because they made my feet stiff and caused more pain! I got some deep massage treatment which resulted in a pair of much relaxed feet. And I agreed to try phasing out my orthotics and slowly build up my feet muscles. Months later, I had completely stopped using my orthotics, wear very minimal shoes and run short distances occasionally. This is really incredible!
Anahata is a very passionate healer and has a holistic approach. Her sessions are often intense and focused but always leave you relaxed and improved. She also educates you on how to maintain correct posture and ways to do effective home exercises to minimize your pain.
I’ve ‘graduated’ from my feet problem and now onto the treatment of my inflamed piriformis muscles. I’m looking forward to regain my mobility and flexibility in every part of my body I never thought possible. I highly recommend Anahata to anyone who wants to effectively manage their pain and improve their quality of life.

I too have been injured in a car accident, bike wrecks and most recently learning to ski. I also do a service that pulls all my energy helping the person. Patricia is a wonderful masseuse, but what is really special is her holistic energy work that Enhances the massage. She treats the body, mind, soul.
She really has opened up my severely injured neck and shoulder. I highly recommend her.
