Fantastic crepes and espresso. Very reasonable price points. And the best part was chatting with the owner. Great person!

Came here just ordering a coffee. Waited for almost 20 minutes it took to make 2 crepes for a family that came in before us. I cannot put in words how slow this guy was moving. It was painful to watch. There was no sense of urgency. At all. It took him so long just to slice a banana. It was almost rude how much this guy did not care about making people wait. I’m a barista and I know exactly how this job works. Finally started making my drink, then said the machine isn’t working. Are you serious? I walked here and waited 20 minutes, and I can’t get my drink? Thankfully he refunded me without me having to ask. Had to run to catch the ferry. So that was fun.

Took the ferry mainly for the photo opportunities of the mountains and city. Got to the island and walked around. Saw this first on Unilocal and since it had good reviews I gave it an opportunity. The person who made my crêpe was very nice, she created conversation with me and told me all the fun places and spots to visit. The crêpe was good. Lots of strawberries, bananas and Nutella. The complimentary lemon water was iced cold and super refreshing. She was playing country music and set a good atmosphere!

Bainbridge Crepes is a small but cozy crêpe shop on Bainbridge island. You can get sweet or savory crepes to enjoy when you visit the island. It’s a nice choice if you crave a treat for dessert or something savory for the ferry ride home… as long as they’re interested in serving you. My Overall Rating — 2 Stars(Atmosphere, Food, Return) Atmosphere — You can reach Bainbridge Crepes by foot from the ferry. It’s a short walk away. The interior is very welcoming and whimsical with light blue walls, original art on the wall, and a bright interior. The crêpe griddle sits front and center so you can watch them assemble your custom crêpe by hand. 1 Star. Service — We were a bit disappointed in our experience. We arrived around 11:30 and were apparently the first patrons. And while we saw the staff in the back, it took several minutes for her to come out. And once she finally appeared, we didn’t feel very welcome as she took our order, assembled our crêpe, then disappeared into the back. As we were about to leave, she reappeared and placed her lunch on the crêpe griddle to warm it up. Sorry, I wish I hadn’t seen that because for the rest of the day I kept thinking what else could have been placed on the crêpe griddle to warm up. No Star. Food — Our crêpe was very good. While it was hastily assembled and served on a disposable plate, it was delicious. The crêpe was light, eggy, and had was packed with strawberries and cream. And while I enjoyed the taste of the crêpe, I couldn’t help thinking about the indifferent service and presentation. I didn’t even bother taking a photo. ½ Star. Will I Return? — Maybe. While our experience was just ok, I’m hoping it was isolated. The bottom line is that Bainbridge Island is small & the crepes were good. Some places don’t deserve a return visit, but I will probably return. Besides, I want to know what else is going to be heated up for lunch. ½ Star. My Unilocal Rating Scale(Sum of all parts): 1 Star — Atmosphere — Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I’ll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star — Service — You can have a great meal with bad service. But that’s also what can make a five-star joint drop to four. It’s important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars — Food — I’ll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it’s really all about the food. 1 Star — Will I come back? — If I know for a fact I’ll return, I’ll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food(2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Unilocal score.

Such a cute little place! We got off the Ferry from Seattle and stumbled upon this place. We didn’t have a crêpe unfortunately, but did have a blackberry crumb bar that was very good. I also had an iced chai latte, which was more of a milk with some cinnamon in it, but was nevertheless good and very refreshing. All in all, will definitely be back when I’m in the area!

We got here at 12:15 on a Saturday so the place was packed but a table opened up while we were in line so my mom sniped it. We waited a little while for our food but like I said it was packed and with only two cooktops things were going to take a little while, but we were in no rush. The women working were super friendly and remembered what everyone had ordered. The crepes themselves were delicious! We got two savory options and it was a perfect and filling lunch! If you’re spending an afternoon on the island I would definitely recommend.

This is a cute little shop and they have several options between savory and sweet crepes. The savory crêpe we tried was made with buckwheat and wasn’t my favorite as the buckwheat seemed to overpower the taste of the other ingredients. The sweet crêpe was filled with nutella and strawberries though, and it was di-vine. If you love crepes and you happen to be on Bainbridge Island, this is the spot.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but was not satisfied at all. I got the agate pass and my hubby got the lynwood. The agate pass was too sour since the lemon was too overwhelming rather than complimenting the crêpe.

This place was great! We got the Winslow crêpe, which was perfect for a small snack. The garlic sauce that they put on is great but a bit heavy, so I’d recommend going light on the sauce. Be sure to check in! You get a free drink. The stand out of this place is the service though– the lady that owns it is super friendly and super kind, made us feel truly at home.

This place is awesome! Discovered it by accident, but was completely blown away. I had a savory crêpe(The Winslow), absolutely loved it! Don’t go thru Bainbridge without stopping by BC on your way in or out … I just wish I lived there.

Crepes are delicious, but was surprised by the curt young blonde lady behind the counter who snapped, «there’s going to be at least a 15 minute wait.» when we first walked in. We had smiles on our faces and were not in a hurry as we entered; there was no need for her to be unpleasant. Then after she made the to-go crêpe for the man in front of us, she said, «I can take your order but you’ll still have a wait.»(Still no smile) My husband politely told her we have no problem waiting. And STILL no smile. A quiet Sunday afternoon in January… what will she be like when it gets busy in the summer?!

I love their buckwheat crepes! One of my friends thought the crêpe was overcooked, but it’s just because she doesn’t like the flavor of buckwheat! I’d say this is my favorite crêpe places to date! Definitely worth visiting! Too bad I won’t visit brainbridge island any time soon again.

Cute store, good crêpe, but the price was quite steep for what I got. I ordered what I thought was a simple crêpe, bananas nutella and cream(Lynnwood). I felt a a bit uncomfortable realizing I had paid $ 8.00 for something so simple when my order arrived. They do have a great check in deal though, free refrigerated drink so take advantage of that!

Crepes that taste as good as the Crepes I had in France. They make the crepes with fresh and local ingredients. It’s fun to watch them create your crêpe in front of you. The space is small with a couple of tables inside and outside to eat at. You walk up to the counter to place your order, and then wait for your name to be called. They have a sweet and savory menu. The savory crepes, like in France, are made from buckwheat(gluten free), and the sweet from wheat. They can make the sweet options with buckwheat as well. They also have some pastry and espresso options to chose from here. All the pastries are made in house. They even had a delicious gluten free cookie! The crepes are quite large and filling. This was a perfect lunch spot. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stop to grab a quick bite during a trip to Bainbridge Island.

Good tasting crepes on the buck wheat. I got the Winslow and was impressed as that this was my first buck wheat experience. It included chicken, caramelized onions, provolone cheese, and mushrooms. Latte here was surprisingly good and not burnt or sour tasting. The place is small but cozy. The customer service is nice and the service is quick. She makes them right in front of you so you can see the whole process. You also get a punch card for those loyal customers.

Not just because it’s hard to find a crêpe store around where I live, their crêpe is delicious. Have tried both savory and sweet ones, and I loved them. The best part is the amount of filling is just right without too much cheese or whipping cream which could easily take over the delicate texture of thin layers of crêpe. So I really appreciate how the keep crêpe in good balance. I also like strawberry they use for Lynwood. It’s not over sweetened jam but like more compote style. Sweetness of Nutella is matched with strawberry very nice.

This crêpe place is amazing. It’s such a cozy little spot, it’s really cute. I make crepes all the time at home but this crêpe spot makes it better than I do! I went for the sweet crepes and asked for the Day Road with strawberries and bananas and nutella on top. Whipped creAm was included too. sorry I dont have a picture to prove but I ate it all in less than five minutes! Even running on the way to catch my 4:30 ferry with my group! I’d recommend this place to whoever loves sweet crepes.

Like many other visitors to this shop, BF and I got here after wandering off the ferry. We wanted a quick, light bite to eat on Bainbridge Island and the crêpe we got was perfect! We ordered the Winslow to share, which contained provolone cheese, chicken, spinach, mushrooms and carmelized onions. It was delicious! The guy who was making the crepes, Tyler, was extremely friendly too. The shop is small, but it just has a very cozy feel to it. Bonus– a Unilocal check in got me a free drink. I tried the Mocha iced, and it was great!

I haven’t had a crêpe in years, so last week I was out and about and decided to give Bainbridge Crepes a go. The staff here are very friendly and with my Unilocal check-in, I was given a free drink: I chose a decafe latte and I have to say that the latte was great. Nice strong coffee. I decided on a savory crêpe because I was hungry for lunch, I went with the Winslow, a buckwheat crêpe with chicken, cheese, mushrooms and spinach. It was good. I found that I am not a great fan of buckwheat through the experience, and I had wished that there was a little more filling. The filling that was there was tasty, it just wasn’t enough, I could have used some more mushrooms and cheese at the minimum. If I find myself jones’ing for a crêpe, I will come back and try something else. Maybe the non buckwheat version would have satisfied me more.

What a cute little shop! The place is cozy and the menu is small but nonetheless is tasty. I really loved the buckwheat crêpe that I had with crème frache and mushrooms. The menu is on the small side, but who needs really a 100 different ways to make a crêpe. Simplicity is at its best in this cozy little café.

Service was very good and I got a free Italian soda when I checked in here. Staff was nice, but crêpes are on the pricey side. I ordered a Winslow and a day road crêpe. The crêpes took a little bit of time to be made, but they were very good. I would definitely suggest this place as a nice stop and snack place. 4.2÷5

My wife & I took the ferry over from Seattle on a whim, and walked around a bit before catching the next ferry back… we stumbled upon Bainbridge Crepes looking for a quick snack, and were glad we did. The service was great, the crepes were very tasty. It is a short walk from the ferry on the way into the shopping area.

I don’t often use the word«charming» to describe a place or an inanimate object. It’s just too human a word. But I feel completely comfortable saying that Bainbridge Crêpes is totally, utterly charming. It’s a tiny little eatery a mere five minute walk the ferry where morning sunlight streams through the glass front door and soft guitar music wanders over the simple, rustic décor. The cashier, perched behind two steaming crêpe pans, gave me a cheerful recommendation for the Winslow, a buckwheat crêpe filled with chicken, provolone, sautéed mushrooms, and spinach. I don’t particularly like buckwheat. The thought of a buckwheat crêpe made me nervous. But my fears lifted with the very first bite, a bite filled with savory bursts and sweet finishes. The crêpe was soft and fluffy, and the richness of the buckwheat was a nice compliment to the creamy smoothness of the cheese. The mushrooms were perfectly seasoned, and lacked the unpleasant earthiness that you often find in many restaurant. The spinach was a particular high point; bright green and viscerally crunchy, so fresh I suspect it was picked the very same morning. After I finished, I sat and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere for a while. I’m glad I didn’t miss this one. You shouldn’t either.
