History

Established in 1987.

Our business began in September 1987 as Pac-​West Tree Service and we worked primarily in King and Snohomish Counties. In 1990, we moved to Kitsap County and discovered there was a tree business by the same name already in this county. We agreed to change our name for work on the Kitsap side and have been American Tree Service ever since. Over the years our safety record has been outstanding. I am fully licensed, bonded and insured, and am proud to emphasize high quality and high safety on all jobs.

I started climbing trees when I was 26 and was fortunate to learn from some of the best, who saw my potential and ease with customers. Customer service has always been my strong point, which explains why a lot of my business has been repeat and referral. I feel that one of my best assets is listening to what the customer is trying to do and then help them achieve it. The other important asset I bring to every job is my experience. Tree services come and go but the good ones are still around. I’m well respected among other top companies and I basically love what I do.

I have been married for the past 28 years to my lovely wife Isabel, and we have two daughters who are both in college and doing very well in their respective fields of teaching and anthropology. We enjoy living in the small community of Indianola surrounded by long time friends and family.
