History

Established in 1980.

We started out as a restaurant in 1980, and converted to an Inn in 1995. Owned by the same family for all 35 years.

Stayed in the Mt Washington room and it was just wonderful in every aspect. The room had all the comforts of home, it was extremely clean and the views were just breathtaking. Such a great place to stay on the island.

I was extremely impressed by this place. It is on a beautiful island with a very beautiful view of the ocean (got some amazing sunset pictures!) The inn is family owned so I really felt well taken care of. The room was spectacular and cozy. The pool is heated, there are beautiful flowers surrounding the place, bar in the lobby, free movies to rent, games/​books/​flat screen tv in the room… literally this place thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable. This will definitely be a regular spot from here on out and I highly recommend it to a couple looking to get away, or with some friends– even kids.

This inn was absolutely amazing — the crowning point of our trip to New England. I don’t know if it is because I proposed here, but I do know that the folks here made our stay extra special!
First, they arranged sparkling cider for our room and delivered it — free of charge! Next, they took extra special care to help us box up the flowers I had delivered during our engagement day dinner. Finally, they even wrote about our engagement on their blog!
The staff here is friendly, and I loved every moment we spent here. We’ll be back!
