Japanese Maples, grafted conifers, woody ornamentals with unusual habit, color or texture. Plants from 2 gal to 150 gal. Individual help with plant selection available. Most of the plants are grown on site and tax free.

History

Established in 1996.

Seventeen years ago the business got started on a former tobacco farm in Bahama, about 10 miles north of Durham. From the beginning, the focus has been on out of the ordinary woody ornamentals, especially Japanese Maples and conifers.

Business Owner

A former clinical psychologist, I had always wanted to run a nursery since childhood. After JC Raulston died tragically in an accident, I decided that if I ever was to have a nursery, I better get started. Now 17 years later, we have created a wonder world of interesting plants.
