Jon the proprietor of the store is always accessible and will always take time out of his busy day to answer all your questions. Carol Ann is an extraordinary artist who has an eye for the right matting and framing. I recently purchased a Markee Sullivan Floral which Carol Ann helped me matt and frame. The frame she selected is a work of art in itself. In fact it looks like I took this work of art off a museum wall! It’s spectacular and the focal point of my home.
Karen works silently in the back doing all the matting and framing and is really the unsung hero of Village Art and Frame. Her work is pure perfection. Thanks Karen for all your outstanding work behind the scenes. I want you to know that it is sincerely appreciated every time I look at all my magnificent artwork hanging in my home.
Many of the Long Island Artists like Rick Mundy (to date I have 3 of his pieces hanging in my home) are featured at the Village Art and Frame. I think it is wonderful that Village Art and Frame promote local talent which would never have had the exposure if not for Village Art and Frame.
Recently Village Art and Frame is featuring original, one-​of-​a-​kind, jewelry artisan pieces by Mary Correale. Carol Ann again is the go to person who will explain each piece in detail and then take the time to help you select a wearable work of art based on your skin tone and personality. Every time I wear my piece by Ms. Correale called «The Oracle» people stop my on the street and ask me where I got it. The answer is, of course, Village Art & Frame Gallery. I had a very specific image in my head of what I was looking for to frame 2 pieces and after going to a few places, was almost resigned to the fact that what I wanted didn’t exist. I stopped in to Village Art & Frame Gallery on the recommendation of a friend and I am so happy I did. They had EXACTLY what I was looking for and they were wonderful to work with. I had a painting my mom did when she was 9 years old framed as well as a vest my great grandmother made almost 100 years ago when she was a teenager. I received them today and they could not have been more beautiful. They exceeded my expectations in every way. I cried when I opened them.
