Really, really good authentic Mexican tacos and burritos. My family has been eating here for years and it’s always good.

Best place in Azusa for shrimp cocktail and chili rellanos. Fresh delicious food. Call ahead to place to your order if you don’t want to wait inside the establishment for your food.

Yummy!!! This was my first time here. I want to try everything. I started simple this time and got a fish taco and two potato tacos. Very good. Their hot sauce is really spicy so beware and get it on the side if you’re sensitive. The two employees that were there were extremely nice and polite.

I’m on the hunt for the best carne asada burrito in my area. The one here was fine, but the filling to tortilla ratio was weighted to the tortilla a bit too much. It was fairly busy the lunch time I went, and most folks were eating mariscos, so maybe that’s the specialty here. That would explain the faint fishy taste in my burrito.

Best Al Pastor Burritos in town. Also the Huaraches and tacos de papa are so good. Great food and now they accept credit cards/debit cards.

I wanted to like this place, I really did. I ordered a couple of asada tacos and sopes. The asada meat was bland, had absolutely no flavor to it at all which was really disappointing. It wasn’t dry, but it added no flavor to the tacos or sopes. Also, they keep the meat in warming trays and don’t heat it up when they put your order together, so the meat is lukewarm at best. On the plus side, the beans on the sopes were tasty, and I did enjoy their green salsa, it’s spicier than the red. Employees are also friendly.

A five star for the food. It’s a little dive restaurant, but so friendly, and like I said… delicious food! The place needs an upgrade, but if you don’t mind that so much I would recommend this place for authentic Mexican food. I’ve been going here for nearly 25 years(before they were at their current location).

Going to have to bring it down! The last time I went in around 11 on Friday night the back door was open and homeless people kept coming in to use the restroom. The place is becoming way to unpleasant to sit inside to even wait for your order to go, even bordering on very unsafe. I’m very disappointed because I’ve been going there off and on for about 20 years. It should be way better not way worse!

Medium size Mexican restaurant on the south side of Foothill across the street from a church and across the street from Super Toms Burgers. Has it’s own small parking lot on Foothill. I decided to check the place out because it had 4 stars on Unilocal. B rated but the health Department, this place was dirty, the crazy part is it was empty when I went in and no one had bothered to clean the tables, sad. Didn’t notice the rating while I was there, I looked for it but I didn’t see it, could be I just missed it. The food was meh, not that good, I got carnitas, pollo and asada. All the meat came from warming trays and then was chopped up to order, I like how you can see the food being prepared, I didn’t like how little flavor the meats had on their own, the beans have more flavor then the meats. All the meets must be sitting in warm water in the warming tray because they all just tasted like boiled meat, little flavor and little color It was moist from being in water but when you have no flavor is it really a good trade off?

.*************Should Taco Tapatio ever move, I will follow.******************** Today, I saw a «B» rating from the State. Do not let this«B» rating on Taco Tapatio’s window deter you. The kitchen is open to full few and this stainless steel kitchen is always clean and well maintained. Inquiring with sources known only to me within Taco Tapatio’s corporate structure, I was informed the visiting state inspector lady was simply dripping with attitude. T.T. got dinged for the most minor and obscure infractions. I was shown where T.T. was dinged by the state and could not believe it myself. There is yet one more star Taco Tapatio can and should aspire to. It is time for T.T. to upgrade their seating furniture which has for the most part outlived its usefulness. With new seating I would rate 5 stars.

I always make sure to stop by and grab a quick lunch/dinner here when I’m in California. The lack of good reviews is almost criminal, the food is amazing. Their tacos are perfection, and I really enjoy their bean and cheese burrito [but it’s hard to mess those up]

Proof that the«hole in the wall» spots are the best ones. Can’t go wrong with the potato tacos or the al pastor there. Awesome fresh made guacamole too! Try the horchata or jamica with your meal! So good! Been coming here for years, especially when citrus college used to host the Azusa Swapmeet at the drive in theater.

This is a little divey Mexican food place that has been here for a while. Al Pastor is my favorite, but this did nothing for me. It was too sweet or something. I actually couldn’t even tell I was eating pastor. The tacos are the small tacos using the 4″ corn tortillas. The tortilla chips are pretty average. I could mistake them for supermarket chips from a bag. Beans are average. Some people really love this place. I’m not one of them. They do sell that nopales powder though which is supposed to be good for you.
