I have nothing but KUDOS for the OUTSTANDING job done cleaning my home carpeting. The team was friendly, professional, and punctual, and I felt very comfy with them in my home. My carpets actually look better than they did brand new, and I cant say enough about this GREAT experience. Stanley Steemers reigns!!!

Was very pleased with outcome of carpet cleaning. It had been several years since I had had the carpet professional cleaned. Carpet came out better than expected. I had 2 runners and an area rug that they suggested that they take to warehouse to clean. Andrew and Curtis were very professional and worked well together. I won’t wait as long to have Stanley Steamer come out again.

Great Guys and very professional. Have used Stanley for 30 years or more. From Santa Monica, CA to Palm Springs, CA home and to Encino, CA. When we move Stanley goes with us. They cleaned all our carpets and runners as I played ‘Eminem’ from my voice studio (they couldn’t believe a 60 year old was listening to Cee Lo Green and Eminem! lol I wrote a script about a Teen having problems in the 60’s and then the story grows to 2016. Added Eminem in scenes. Love some of his stuff from 8 Mile film & stage acts. He has passion and depth. House was cleaned and done in a professional manner! Thank you guys@! James & Family

Had my carpets done by Stanley and the worker was alone… This guy did such a great job by himself… then the next day he and a co-​worker came back to steam clean my couches… and OMG… they look brand new… Would not select another company… Great Job Stanley Steemers!!!

I decided to bring Stanley Steemer back out to clean my large sectional and chair, and use my $ 15 gift card from my last Unilocal review. Ron and Sam were very professional and informative on the products they were using as to what is the best way to clean and perserve my sectional and chair with their sealant. My sectional is very old but looks and smells new to me now, I really like that OIO deoderizer. Thank you so very much for the honest and great service.

I called to schedule an appointment to have my carpet cleaned at short notice. I got the day and time requested. Two men showed up but were almost 2 hours late after the 3 hour window they gave me. However, they did a fantastic job cleaning the very dirty carpet. It only took a few hours to dry and looks like new. I had not had the carpet cleaned in over one year. I would certainly call them again for carpet cleaning services.

I called Stanley Steemer on a Saturday and got an appointment for the very next day. We needed some upholstered furniture cleaned that had gotten soiled in the garage while our home was being remodeled (living room sofa and dining room chairs). The company’s technician did a GREAT job. He was friendly, courteous, meticulous, and thorough. When he was done, all of the furniture ended up looking cleaner than when we first brought it into the garage to store it. He even helped me carry the living room sofa back into our home after he finished cleaning and deodorizing it. Until very recently, I didn’t even know Stanley Steemer cleaned upholstery and chairs, but I would use this company again without hesitation. I give them a strong two thumbs up!

Very shady. Scheduled an appointment to have my sofa cleaned for $ 129. My sofa is just three cushions with a chaise. I was informed once they got there that it would be slightly more expensive because of the chaise cushion (which is only 2×2 ft larger than the two other cushions). I assumed it would be maybe $ 50 more, but instead they tried charging me $ 425. I ended up cancelling on the spot.

This is the second time that Miguel and his assistant came out to clean our carpet and area rugs. They worked quickly, were happy to answer any questions and always professional. We hadn’t cleaned the carpet in over a year and our toddler had tracked in mud, sand and other stains from the pool and backyard. It was sticky and disgusting. To my surprise, the carpet looked brand-​new after cleaning, and was so much softer and nicer to sit on. For the first time, we also had them clean our wood floors and they left them sparkling clean and beautiful. We are thrilled that our allergies have vastly improved. We will definitely be calling Stanley Steamer again and recommend them without reservation.

They arrived on time and did a professional job. My area rugs were not dirty, I just needed the chemicals removed and this served the purpose. They moved the furniture. Would hire again.

Stanley Steemer cleaned our sofa, It had some protein shake spots on it and the cleaner we used left large yellow stains. Anthony did a great job and I would recommend him. The sofa looks as good as new! #my$ 15

Had this Azusa team over last week to work on my wood floors. They arrived on time and worked all morning. I have to say my wood floors haven’t looked this good since we moved in 13 years ago! Why didn’t I have this done sooner! Great job! I would highly recommend them. #my $ 15

Had my stairs, hall and bedroom cleaned recently. They arrived promptly and were very professional. They were dressed in uniforms which other companies are not. They did a very thorough job and my carpet looks so much better. Stains came out and everything. I liked that they moved my heavy bedroom furniture and put pads underneath so the carpet wouldn’t get stained. Last time they just moved the nightstands. I like their work and I will call them again. Nice to have a QA guy following up behind them. I had no issues at all. #my$ 15

We had a sectional couch and a large area rug cleaned. The sectional came out ok… the area rug, on the other hand, is another story. First we were told they were going to bring it outside to clean but I guess they changed their minds and with out consulting us did it inside. The rug had a non slip mat under it and it was on top of our wood floors. We were told it would take a max of 12 hours to dry. Well we had the rug done on a Friday and by Sunday it was still wet and smelling very badly. We pulled the rug up to discover the non slip mat was soaking wet and also now stuck to our wood floors. We pulled the rug up and placed it on our driveway in the sun to dry. We then pulled up the non slip mat and had to scrub the rubber up in several spots that it stuck. The mat was so damaged we threw it away. Once the rug was dry we put it back in our house only to soon discover that it smelled so bad we had to remove it again. I called Stanley Steamer and was told I should get a call on Monday. I will keep you all posted…
Update: We were contacted by Stanley Steamer and they apologized and wanted to make it right. They said they don’t clean area rugs in houses. They bring them into their office to get cleaned in a more controlled environment. The technician that came to our house made a mistake. They reimbursed us for the cost of a new rug mat and picked up and cleaned our rug and delivered it when it was done. The whole situation was frustrating but I respect them for making it right.

Normally after your carpet is cleaned, it smells clean. Not today, they balked at the price quoted, rushed the job and when I complained and suggested I would find someone else to clean next time, they said ok. Not getting my money again.

Ariane is really nice and helpful. She sounds like she knows her stuff.

The Technicians arrived about 20 minutes early, which was great! They were prompt and didn’t make a mess in the house. They also told us how long we could expect the furniture to dry.

The last time I used this service they left the carpet soaking wet. It took almost two weeks to dry and by then it left an odor. I rented one from home depot and went over the carpets myself just to remove the smell.

Stanley Steemer to the Rescue! I had spilled some paint on my carpet. They told me to keep it damp so the paint does not dry. They came right away and got it out!
So Thankful

Dishonest service technicians charged us 45 dollars for «scotch guard’ when the cleaning was supposed to be free. We never approved the charge but when my wife turned her back the guy says «oh I already started». We paid them and they ended up refunding half the charge but this was bs and I would not trust this company.

We have our carpets cleaned every 6 months.
We have 2 dogs… so our carpets are NOT easy to clean.
But they always do a great job & the stains are always gone.
Employees are professional and arrive on time.

I’ve had work done from them a few times. One of the times it was from Miguel And I was very pleased with his work. He left my carpet and sofas spotless. He also cleaned my cushions which I didnt even think he was going to clean, I was just going to put them in the washer, he saved me time with that! He also left the carpet and sofas pretty much almost dry! Which is a big deal since I have kids running around my house. I was not aware that they cleaned air ducts as well until he gave me some helpful information. My husband and I are very satisfied with the ending result, him and his partner did a great job, very professional and curtious. I will request Miguel next time and I certainly recommend him. I did ask for his last name but I forgot it (sorry) I do remember there was a z at the end.

Update. Update! 3 years later and I get an email from the new manager offering to make things right and clean our carpets for free. They came out, cleaned the carpets professionally and made good on their word. I’m very impressed that they took the time to contact me and save the good name of Stanley Steemer.

We’ve never had our air duct and vents cleaned before in our central AC/​heater unit. Recently my daughter’s nasal allergy has been acting up, especially when the AC is turned on, and that’s when we decided to clean the air ducts. I researched online and decided to try Stanely Steemer. The appointment process was easy; I did everything online. I entered the number of vents in our house, dryer vent, furnace and other information, and it gave me an exact cost. I was also able to select the day and time I wanted. On that day, Miguel and his assistant showed up promptly on the scheduled time. They spent a total of 3 and ½ hours on the cleaning job. I was standing by to watch and could see that they were very thorough and detailed. It was clear that Miguel is a professional in air duct cleaning from the way he handles the vents and the equipments. In addition, they were very courteous and informative and answered every single one of my questions. After the job, they also cleaned up nicely, leaving no mess on the floor and around the vents.
We tested out our AC afterwards, and it was evident that it’s working much better than before, since all the dust has been cleaned from the air ducts. We used to have to set the thermostat at 72 degrees in order for the 2^nd floor of our condo to get cold enough (since warm air rises); now it’s cold enough with thermo set at 75 degrees. We know we will be saving electricity bill now.
When we reclean our air ducts/​vents/​dryer vent in 3 years, we will be calling Miguel at Stanley Steemer again.

I really like the results of my carpet cleaning. I was happy to see that they arrived sooner than the appointment time window they gave me and to see them take their time going over their tracks so the carpet looked it’s absolute best. The two young workers that came to my house were very talk friendly. I always call them for the 2 room special for just $ 99. It’s such a deal.

I have used this company before. I was much more pleased the first time. This time I was disappointed because the employee that came to clean the rug asked me if I wanted Scotch guard to be applied to the hallway. My hallway is very small (8ft by 1ft). I said yes thinking that it wasn’t going to be extra because I wasn’t charged extra the last time. However, I was charged $ 15 without being advised of the extra charge before agreeing to the application. This is very sneaky and underhanded, which I do not appreciate. I will be doing my own carpet cleaning from now on.

We have use them many times. We made a mistake and tried another company recently and we basically threw money away.
With Stanley steemer, I was able to make an appointment easily, Pay over the phone and receive professional and thorough service.
The chargers were exactly what we were quoted and not a penny more.
Will stick with them for future care for sure!

I used Stanley Steemer a few months back; I must say that EVERY single stain they supposedly cleaned came right back. Apparently, the 15-​minutes they spent on two rooms was not sufficient time to do an adequate cleaning. By the way, their $ 99.00 special clearly was not worth it… I would not recommend them at all.

Their price was exactly what was quoted, they showed up when promised, even though I called at the last minute, they worked hard and did a good job. I’m a fan.

OK. Where do I start…
I selected them out of three companies, because of these reviews, they had the best.
Bad decision!
Our first floor is 6k sq. ft. and wide open floor plan with 9 offices along one side and two conference rooms in the front. Our carpet is one large design, and is 10 yrs. old in great shape I might add, they thought it was only a few years old when they came to quote us. Anyways, we called them because we had 5 soiled areas on the carpet that our cleaning crew could not get out. So we hired professionals…
1^st cleaning… They came in on a Saturday morning two weeks ago to clean our first floor, they divided the office down the middle, once crew took half that included the offices, open floor plan and a conference room, the other crew took the open area and the smaller conference room. They were out of here within 4 – 5 hours, carpet looked good after.
Came in Monday morning to find a LONG water mark down the middle of the open area where the work was divided and the area without the offices that one crew cleaned went from grey color carpet to beige with brown blotchy areas. I called them immediately.
2^nd cleaning… They came that night to clean it again, I stood 3 extra hours at work with my children I might add. smh. Anyways, again it seemed good. But when the carpets still wet you never really know till it dry’s completely. They left 4 blowers since it needed to dry overnight, leaving to 2blowers per each walk way and well these professionals left the lobby areas without a blower, so when people came in the next morning for work it was still very damp. ugh. Thank goodness we have another entrance. Once the carpet dried there were difference blotchy areas that were not there before? ugh. seriously…

3^rd cleaning… So they came again mind you, this is after hearing from one of there so called experts, that this would be the last time. As there work is not guaranteed? Fine if you tried to remove stains that were there before you attempted to clean our carpets and you were not able to remove them, but blotches where there were none before you came. NO! Anyways. they came the 3^rd time, and the so called experts came to clean this time around. Next morning. looking better, but still worse than when they first started? All because of 5 soiled areas. that were actually removed I might add. but at what price. ruining all the other carpeted area? Really? Ugh… I gave up on them and decided to see what our other options are with another company.
About 36 hours later about a day and a half after the 3^rd cleaning, I came into work to find out from our IT guy that they left the spigot on, on the second floor where they used to access water to clean the carpets, causing the roof to back up with water, that had then leaked into our SERVER ROOM!.. Really! OMG… ugh. then when I called them regarding it, some manager said anyone could of done that. and also stated. «I’m just trying to take blame off my guys» why would you say that? Real smart… smh. Mind you we have a security gate that closes at 6pm every evening which was closed way before they left and only opened by the inside when leaving our parking lot though sensors of a large object (car, truck, etc.)
So that is our experience. Hope this helps. And no we will never use their company again, and I would NEVER recommend them.

I called this company after seeing an ad for a $ 99.00 two room offer. BTW, this is my first ever Unilocal review. Anyway I asked where they are located and he said, «Azusa.»
I told him I was calling about the two room special and told him I only Have two area rugs made out of low cut commercial carpeting. He gave me a price of over $ 200.00.
When I asked what happened to the $ 99 special he told me area rugs are much more delicate and harder to clean blah, blah, blah. I asked him to please not lie to me as I’ve been in the carpet business for 30 years, and I know something about carpeting.
He said I did not qualify for the special. I said I guess you don’t want my busin ess and he hung up on me. I am still looking.

The guy showed up 1 hour too late. Then he started to charge me more because of the wool carpet and stairs.
After he left, I saw that al my baseboard got marks from the machine, so I have to repaint them. My wooden floor down by the stairs has several spot from the liquid he used. He was not using any protection for the baseboard and my wooden floor down by the stairs.
Outside he left a big stain on the patio due to the liquid leaking.
I would definitely NOT recommend this company.

Terrible Service! The woman who came to my home was so unprofessional and nasty when I challenged her about trying to charge me more than what was agreed on originally.
When I tried to call the owner about it, it was so clear that he didn’t give a crap/​just wanted to get paid.
Does customer service exist anywhere anymore???
