Birth Doula Services:

Continuous and uninterrupted support during labor and birth. Once you’re in labor and you contact me to meet you I won’t leave until your baby is born and you’re both recovering well.

My knowledge of different positions to help progress labor and provide comfort and relaxation.

Massage to help you cope with pain and to make you more comfortable.

Labor tools such as a birth ball, massage oil, hot and cold packs etc.

Guidance for your partner. If your partner is unsure of how to help you during labor I can provide training and opportunities for them to support you.

Postpartum Belly Binding Services:

A beautiful belly bind that you get to keep! (You can use it again after your next baby)

A belly binding session with me! I come to your home in the early postpartum days and bind you. I will also teach your support person how to do it so that they can help bind you in the future.

All natural belly firming paste that I can apply for your first bind! The belly firming paste contains natural warming oils and spices that help stimulate blood flow to the area aiding in firming, toning and healing.

History

Established in 2014.

Serving others with my vocation has been a lifelong ambition of mine and, as a doula, I have been able to live out this dream. On a missions trip to South Africa, the local pastors gave me the African name Bonolo, meaning «ease». That’s the best way to describe my role as a doula. I seek to bring ease to you and your partner as you welcome your child into the world.

I’m originally from Nothern California but have lived in Azusa for the past year with my husband. Since we’ve lived here I have been employed as a nanny for some wonderful sets of twins.

I like to think that my calling as a doula was born out of my love and appreciation for the design of family. I’ve enjoyed having a special role in the lives of children and their parents and stepping into the role of doula is a way for me to carry this role a few steps further.

I’m a very calm and collected person and I like to think that the term «ease» fits my personality very well. My love for families and birth also comes from a very deep spiritual place. Along with my faith comes the desire to love and embrace people and couples from every culture, religion, and background.
