This nail salon is located directly in front of the Rail Trail bathroom area, next to the car dealership on park street, and connected to the bike shop. I will start off with the good. Women are very nice. Vietnamese. They don’t speak a lot of English. They are clean from what I can see and their prices are very cheap. I went in for a pedicure which was $ 23.00. I soaked for 20 minutes while my friend had her pedicure started. She did the normal cuticle, shape, massage of the feet and calves. From what I could tell… I was getting a spa pedicure which they charge $ 33.00. So if that wasn’t a spa pedicure… it was very well worth $ 23.00. the water was a little cold, but nothing to really complain about. Their basic manicures are $ 10.00. Every service they have is $ 10-$ 20 cheaper than the fancy expensive places. Now the bad– I have to admit, it doesn’t have the best curb appeal. There isn’t much parking unless you use the lot next to the bike shop. When you walk in, there isn’t much on the walls, poorly decorated and I believe this to be because they don’t get a lot of business. maybe they’re just starting off? They have a lackluster sign outside. I feel this place would get more business if their décor was more up to date and fresh. They have a fish tank… which doesn’t work, or isn’t plugged in? Not sure whats going on there. The two chairs they have for pedicures don’t match. The place looks like they grabbed everything off Craigslist and threw it together to start a business. I personally don’t care, as long as the service is friendly, clean, and priced accordingly. They have an autoclave, and they were using is. They use gloves. All things I look for. :) if you want the fancy snacks, drinks, waterfalls, and gold leaf walls, this is not a place for you. if you’re on a budget and you need a nice 30 – 45 minute pedicure and mini massage, then come here and support these women. I have faith in them to get their business going, which is why I created a Unilocal page for them! **Side note: Their credit/debit machine will only charge for the service. I recommend giving them a tip in cash or they will swipe your card without letting you tell them what you want to put on there for a tip!
