I required a gluten free cake for my wedding, As if that wouldn’t be hard enough, I also needed one from a bakery that was located near my parents in Litchfield Park. All I have to say is thank God for Deena and her Sweet Life GF Bakery! She handled my requests like a champ and treated me like a friend. The cake turned out exactly like the photo I sent her, and it tasted like heaven on a plate. My friends and family, (and my now husband who is the toughest cake critic of all) could not tell it was gluten free/dairy free. It’s really too bad I live in Las Vegas because I’d be a regular customer for birthdays and other events as well.

You won’t even miss the wheat! We had a Sweet Life GF Cake at a potluck at our house a few weeks ago and I’ll admit, I was a skeptic. I have a hard time accepting any substitute foods. I don’t want soymilk, margarine, or tofu – give me cow’s milk, butter and chicken! Anyway, the cake we had was 100% gluten free and I’ll tell ya, I wouldn’t have known the difference. I’m a believer.
This is GREAT for anyone who is seeking to live a healthier lifestyle, and gluten-free fits nicely into the paleo/primal way of eating. I heard Deena now makes paleo breads… might have to treat myself to a loaf. :-)
