I’m a rock climber, kayakist, and a race car driver. I tell you this in preface to show you that I have no problem doing things that would make most people cry. But when it comes to the dentist, I freak out, man, I freak out. It’s a 100-mile round trip whenever I visited my dentist. But after hearing all of the radio ads for Rosenfeld catering to cowards, and he’s only 15 miles away, I decided to give him a try. I had no problem getting an appointment. I showed up two days later on a Thursday morning for a 10am appointment. There were no other patients in the office. Around 1030am I was escorted into the treatment room and the doc walked in at about 1045am. He asked me a few questions about my dental history, looked at my mouth from about two feet away, and said that he’d be back. It’s about 1050am at this point. About 1115am I got up out of the chair to find out if they forgot me and the receptionist intercepted me at the doorway. Not sure how they knew I got out of the chair. Anyway, I go back and sit down and the tech comes in for x-rays. A few minutes later the Doc comes in and starts telling me all about his laser and rattling off the prices for various procedures … «if we find [x], then [y]» … pretty much without giving me any kind of hands-on exam. Then he was back off to the pretty girl across the hall. 1.5 hours for that adventure in dentistry. I’m tough on dentists. I admit it. Though you don’t have to hit me on the head with a tack hammer to make me realize that this practitioner ain’t for me. Needless to say, after that adventure, I am more than happy to drive my 100-mile round-trip to my old dentist.

Cured my fear of dentists! Dr. Rosenfeld is the BEST dentist I have ever experienced! He does ALL his work himself, he is COMPLETELY pain-free(this coming from a dental WUSS!) and is so kind and patient I can’t imagine anyone being better! The cost isn’t as cheap as a few other places, but holy cow is it worth it! I can’t recommend Dr. Rosenfeld enough! Even after I moved from CT to VA I FLEWUPTOSEEHIM! He’s just that good!

My husband is beyond terrified of the dentist. After several visits to Dr. Rosenfeld, he finally doesn’t white-knuckle the whole way there. Although expensive compared to other places(hence four stars), it’s worth it if I can even get my husband to show up for an appointment.

WOW — you want a dentist with top skills(active teacher) as well as laser(usually no novacaine needed) and an organized and professionally run office — here it is. I just love Dr R and the whole staff. He is up to date on all the latest techniques and the laser has saved me from going to a periodontist several times(that means nearly painless laser versus stitches and lots of bad stuff.) I am so grateful to have found him. He takes several dental plans. I don’t think you will be disappointed. His office is in that little shopping area behind the big rocking chair.
