Great service! I always appriciate being remembered by name from check in through check out… by everyone! All employees were eager to please and friendly. I loved the hot tub with a waterfall and the beds were comfortable. The free shuttle made everything very convenient! I would go back.

We got married here. The hotel was super accommodating, the cookies and coffee in the hallways were awesome. The views from the rooms were great. We would definitely stay here again. Valets also did a great job as well as front desk staff. It’s pretty easy to ski down to the centennial lift too. Thanks and we’ll be back!

Staying in Beaver Creek is always a special treat for us, so we were looking forward to returning to The Pines for a second time in a few years(we usually stay at its sister hotel, The Osprey, and have done so on 4 occasions). The Pines is an excellent lodging option during ski season, especially when there are deals. Access to the slopes is immediate, and you catch a ride up the Strawberry Express Lift and return via the Blue/intermediate Bitterroot run and exiting left at the signs on a green catwalk. The hotel is also one of the default stops for the complimentary Beaver Creek shuttle during the day. A valet immediately greeted us and unloaded our luggage even though we were several hours too early to check-in. However, we were not informed that they were keeping our skis at the ski-in/out entrance towards the back, so later we had to hunt one of the valets down to find out where they went. At the end of the day, it was very easy to just stick our skis on the outdoor rack. Loved the fact that the hotel offers coffee/tea service every morning on the 2nd and 3rd floor, and again with hot chocolate and powdered cider in the afternoons accompanied by fresh chocolate chip cookies. They also provide turn-down service in the evenings. The main floor had comfy sofas and chairs and a fireplace in which to lounge around by the lobby. Unfortunately, we did not get the chance to check out the pool, sauna, etc; however, there was a nice little gym and a small yet decent locker room. There was even a tiny ski gear/equipment shop in case you needed to rent or buy something you left back home. Our deluxe room was clean, roomy, and had excellent views over the village. It even had a small, walk-out porch. We didn’t really notice the hallway noise even though our door was directly across from the elevators and next to the morning coffee & tea service. Though the tub was small, I liked that the toilet was in its own little area with a door separating it from the rest of the bathroom. My biggest complaint, however, is that compared to The Osprey, the staff here is a little more absent-minded and inconsistent. For example, we wanted extra bottled water in our room and made several requests at the front desk throughout our stay. No, we weren’t trying to steal the attractive glass bottles — we just like to have extra as we drink a LOT of H2O, and the filtered water here is delicious. One day we called twice, and water was sent up an hour later. Another day we called 3 times spaced an hour apart, and water was finally brought up after the 3rd call. Yes, there is a ~$ 30 daily resort charge that includes the valet parking, but you’ll find that everywhere in Beaver Creek. Therefore, I am not accounting for this fact in my review. Anyway, I highly recommend The Pines and would love to be a guest again.

I stayed here during the summer, and it was really affordable considering how nice everything was. Beautiful rooms, fitness center, pool & hot tub, & one of the area’s best restaurants in the lobby! The staff was really friendly and attentive, making for top-notch service, and I loved the little touches like complimentary daily bottles of filtered water, granola bars, and laundry room. This place understands hospitality. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because they slip in a $ 33-per-day«resort fee» on top of the daily rate to cover the business office and mandatory valet(neither of which I wanted), but that seems to be a normal practice at any Beaver Creek resort.

Our guests stayed at The Pines for our wedding and loved it! While I don’t have much personal experience, I can say that their customer service was great and the delivered our guest bags at no charge(can’t say the same for the Hyatt).

Neither my boyfriend or I had been to Beaver Creek and decided to book a room here for the Labor Day Holiday. We were very happy with the room, the features of the hotel, the valets, and it’s location to the village. The room was nicely decorated and the bathroom was spacious adorned with a make up mirror, hair dryer, and scale if anyone is checking their weight on vacation! We had no complaints about the room, or the grounds of the resort. Great place! However, there were a couple of negatives which is why I won’t quite give them 5 starts… Though the valet’s were nice, I can’t say I was overly pleased with the front desk staff. When we checked in I inquired about any credit card holds for incidentals as I had booked online, and the guy at the front desk was rather rude and short. He seemed almost annoyed that I would inquire. Also, we had seen shuttles in the village and called to inquire about the shuttles, and again, the same person was rather rude and short on the phone, as if at 9:00 p.m. he had better things to do than answer questions from the guests. The resort fee was a bit steep as well. We used the valet the first day as you have no choice at this resort, and never used it again until we checked out. Yet, there was a $ 30/day fee for this service. We enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely return, but would hope that the front desk staff take a lesson in customer service before we return.

This was our second stay in a Rock Resort and the service at the Pines did not disappoint. From the Valet to the Concierge our needs were well met. Our room was nicely apportioned albeit without a mountain view. We did not spend much time in the room though so location was paramount. The Starbucks Coffee prepared just outside our room was a nice touch.
