History

Established in 1989.

Perfect Vision & Sound was developed after many years of being in the electronics business. I was fascinated by Radio and TV from the young age of 3, with help from my grandfather Anthony Serio. I started my first back in 1969 business at the age of 15 selling electronic items and stereo systems. When I was 21, I worked for my family in the «high end audio business and custom installation» back in 1976. Realizing the new concept of «high end video and multi-channel surround sound» was coming of age, I felt it was time to start my own company. The Name says it all «Perfect Vision & Sound»

My training for the business was given by many of the founding fathers of the Industry, most notably Mr. Gordon J. Gow, the president and co-founder of McIntosh Laboratory which he started in 1949. I was thought to provide the best service and the belief in picking the best equipment and system designs for our clients is my top priority.

Meet the Business Owner

Robert S.

Business Owner

Initially my job entailed driving out to customers homes and diagnosing the issues they are having with their stereo system or FM or TV antenna system. After careful troubleshooting usually I would have to take back the customers equipment to the service dept and have the equipment repaired.

As a result, with the many years of doing this I started to learn all about different brands of equipment, how they really worked and the associated installation methods needed for them to perform as intended. Many times customers would comment the system sounded better than when it was new.

. After 1,000’s of hours in the field I developed a technique on how to better reinstall different kinds of equipment. Eventually the company I worked for purchased a «Real Time 13 Octave Spectrum Analyzer». This allowed me to take field test measurements of speakers and how they reacted in a particular environment. With this information in hand, I could now provide factual information to our clients!
