Dunkin’ Donuts

The staff at this location always impress me!!! They are so speedy and extremely friendly! I enjoy seeing them every morning!

It’s a Dunkin’ Donuts, so for the most part what you see is what you get. Granted, I know this isn’t always true. My experience at this Dunkin’ Donuts was definitely above the average service I receive at the DD near my house or the one in Bloomfield I frequently stop at on my drive in.
This DD is fairly new and frankly a godsend. Prior to this DD opening, the closest one to my workplace was a few miles away and completely out of the way, in a busy gas station, off a busy road — basically I would suck down the cafeteria coffee before heading there. Granted, I have to drive the opposite way I go home to get to this DD but its really not an inconvenience. On a nice day, I could easily walk here!
Today, I went to the gym at work early and since I had to move my car to another lot anyways, I figured I would head over to DD for an iced coffee and a egg white flatbread. Upon entering I noticed the drive thru was about 10 cars deep. Really, this many people have to go to work/​are up this early the day after July 4^th? Well, I wasn’t going to get out of my car in this humidity, so I drove into the line. One thing I noticed is with this many cars in line, I wasn’t hanging in the road or blocking the parking spots. That is a major issue at the DD near my house. Even with 3 cars in line you are definitely blocking every parking spot.
Anyways, for all the cars in line, service was incredibly fast. When I pulled up to place my order, I was greeted by «Hi, my name is Roger, how can I help you?» It’s the little things but greetings like this make a huge difference to me. Usually you get the grunting, muffled «what do you want» kind of noise coming out of the box. I placed my order, he verified and I pulled up. I paid, promptly received my order and this is where this DD won me over again, my order was correct! I know this shouldn’t be a win for me, but honestly its ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ that any DD gets my iced coffee order correct. I religiously order a medium iced coffee, 2 splenda, milk with a caramel shot which is WORLDS of difference from the caramel swirl, sickenly sweet coffee I am often left with and begrudginly suck down.
Although I probably won’t be frequenting this DD too much as it is not on my direct way to work, I was impressed with their customer service skills and would highly recommend.
