Crown Fried chicken is just out of place in this town. I always pass by this place on my way to work. I have been here twice for food. The interior is an eye sore to look at because the menu are lacking in color and is pretty basic detail. The staff do not listen to you when you are ordering. I asked for a 18 piece of chicken and he given a 22 piece of chicken. I believe that he wanted to get rid of the chicken that has been sitting there all day. The consistency of the chicken was dry one time, then another time juicy. The chicken has very little meat on it. You are better off going to KFC which has standards. This place is costly for the portions that you are given.

Chick was dry and lacking in flavor. Biscuit was dry. Tossed it in the trash. Avoid this place.

We ordered the Picnic Chicken box and the large cheese steak with American cheese, pepper, mushroom, and onion; both were a disappointment. The chicken was dry, burnt, and over salted. The chicken barely had any meat. The coleslaw was bitter, and the fries were over seasoned and soggy. The biscuits were cold in the middle. The cheese steak was better than the chicken, but not by much. it was decent, nothing special nor to write home about. But this place is cheap.

Not good. Chicken was greasy and had far too much breading applied to small pieces. I live close by and really had hopes that this could be a regular dining option. I don’t think I will return.

First of all I put a order in and it never went through .I guess, secondly the staff was not friendly what so ever, They almost gave my food away to some woman and when I finally got home after waiting 30 minutes after I was suppose to get my food I open it up to find soggy bread for my spicy chicken sandwich and the pop corn chicken tasted really overcooked, no condiments no plasticware and no manners. NEVER eating here again.

This place wasn’t great but it wasn’t horrible. I was fiending for fried chicken and this was the nearest place I could find so I gave it a shot. I ordered the 3 piece with mashed potatoes, coleslaw & a biscuit, what I got was a 3 piece with fries. Not a huge deal but there was only 2 other people on the place so there was really no excuse. Other than the chicken the menu was ALL over the place, quesadillas? At a chicken joint? The chicken itself wasn’t bad, unfortunately because I got it to go things got a little soggy from steam while in the container on the drive home. All and all, not awful but I’ll be keeping my eye out for another place to get my fix.

I’ve tried to order delivery from these guys twice via Eat24. Both times I received a call 30 minutes after I ordered letting me know that they can’t make a delivery to me tonight because«their driver is sick». I’d believe that excuse once, but twice is too much. I can’t tell you if the chicken is good or not because it has never arrived. That said if the quality they put into their food is anything like their customer focus, I’m going to have to assume the food tastes lousy.

I lived in the Avon, MA area for two years, and Crown Fried Chicken was my go to destination for fried chicken! I can’t speak for the sides, but the chicken was always fantastic — much more flavorful and fragrant(must be the marinade that they use) than any of the chain fried chicken restaurants in the area.

Me and my wife are from Texas so we are always looking for a good fried chicken place besides kfc and popeyes. There are no chik fil a’s here which is dissapointing. The prices are pretty good, as well as the chicken, biscuits, and mash potato but it tastes similar to kfc. They menu is huge but its a chicken place so im not sure how good the other stuff is.

I was nervous to walk in here and see that there was only one person working behind the counter. I ordered one of the chicken meals and was anxious to see my chicken being removed from under a heat lamp and then rest microwaved right before my eyes… If it wasn’t for seeing that with my own eyes I probably would have been okay with my visit. Maybe hide the microwave in the back, and pretend like your cooking it. All in all chicken wasn’t terrible, but I don’t see myself coming back.

Great fried chicken, for an even greater price. 4 stars out of 5 only because sometimes they do take a little longer getting your food ready. If you haven’t tried the Crown’s in Brockton, go try it! I believe they’re owned by the same management.

The chicken here is pretty good, the meat is juicy and the skin is just right. The fries are so freaking good, I usually eat way more than I’d like to. The guys working there are the best. Super friendly and laid back.

CROWNINGACHIEVEMENT? NOTNECESSARILY While Avon’s Crown Chicken & Biscuit offers sweet promises of fried chicken treasures based on the tried and true KFC model, their menu is also rife with esoteric options such as «Fish and Shrimp Salad with Water» and«Jamaican Beef Patties.» Keeping caution from hurling itself into the wind, I avoided the odd. I phoned in my order and noticed that the gentleman efficiently repeated each item several times, removing any threat of mistakes. Sure enough, the extremely pleasant delivery man dropped off a flawless order, and Crown’s fried chicken and biscuits were crispy and majestically not greasy. It also appeared to be actual chicken(you never know these days, sigh). Some mozzarella sticks were noticeably absent of cheese. Mere fried husks of cheesless logs, they failed to impress. The mashed potatoes, despite the consistency of a preschool art project, were a passable non-creamy spin on their KFC counterpart. Each popcorn chicken, however, was an exercise in excellence. Overall, I loved slowly killing myself with Crown. So will you, if you know what’s bad for you.
