History

Established in 2002.

Since 2002, John Pyke Dentistry has provided general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, and reconstructive services to Avon Lake, Ohio; Avon, Ohio; Sheffield Village, Ohio; Westlake, Ohio; and Bay Village, Ohio. Other services Dr. Pyke provides are teeth bonding, crowns and bridges, speciality dentures, tooth colored fillings, restoring dental implants, teeth whitening, teeth sealants, root canal therapy, and tooth extractions.

Dr. Pyke has completed hundreds of hours in postgraduate dental courses and enjoys complex restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He is involved with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Equilibration Society, the Dawson Academy of Complete Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.

I don’t like going to the dentist. Nevertheless, a recent tooth-​related issue forced me to find a dentist in my area. Good ol’ Unilocal to the rescue!
After reading several reviews, I was fortunate to make an appointment with Dr. Pyke.
The truth is, I’m still not crazy about going to the dentist but the entire experience with Dr. Pyke and his staff was exceptional. Everyone in his office was pleasant and friendly. Dr. Pyke was professional, personable and, extremely patient with me.

Dr. Pyke’s dental practice is the best I’ve been to. The waiting and exam rooms are pleasant. Every member of the staff I’ve interacted with is friendly and genuinely interested in making your visit pleasant and efficient. Dr. Pyke is hugely knowledgeable and has a SUPERB chair-​side manner. If you are a patient who has anxiety about dental visits, Dr. Pyke is the dentist for you. Without being patronizing he has a way of making you feel at ease. I can’t say enough good about this practice.
