Welcome to Beyond the Bag! We know that each pet has come into our lives for a specific reason. Whether you chose your pet from a breeder or a rescue facility, the fact that you and your pet found each other is not by chance. You were drawn together through a spiritual connection in order to heal and support each other. Now you walk this path together, side by side. We live by our motto: «Heal One, Heal the Other», meaning that when one member of the family is out of balance, everyone in the home is affected. So we offer Reiki to both you and your pet to bring balance and harmony into the home.

History

Established in 2013.

Beyond the Bag Pet Nutrition & Wellness was created when Sheila & Debbie met at a networking event and shared a passion for healing pets and their families. With combined backgrounds in Dog Massage, Animal Reiki, and Dog Training, they partnered and pursued certification in Clinical Pet Nutrition in order to reach out to pet lovers everywhere in hopes of eradicating so many unnecessary, debilitating dog and cat diseases. When you attend a class or personal consultation with Sheila and Debbie, their passion and expertise will encourage and excite you to learn more and to do better when it comes to providing for your four legged family member’s well-​being.

Business Owner

Sheila has been a pet lover since she was a child and began training dogs when she was only nine years old. After her Siberian Husky suffered for many years with no relief from allergies, seizures, diabetes and cancer, she desperately sought alternative methods to ease his suffering and strengthen his immune system. This led her to obtain certification in many areas of pet wellness, including Animal and Shamanic Reiki Master Levels, Intuitive Pet Communication and Clinical Pet Nutrition. These skills allowed her to offer her beloved dog comfort and healing in his later years. This experience inspired her to pursue a career where she can help others by sharing what she has learned about pet wellness and offering her services in Reiki and pet communication. Although she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, she is pursuing her passion of helping pets everywhere to live longer, happier, healthier lives through Reiki, Pet Intuitive services and Pet Nutrition Education.
