Our mission is to educate, to inspire, and to be a resource for growth for people exploring wellness both personally and professionally. Our vision is to be a leading resource and training sanctuary for personal transformation, with ripples of benefits reaching the local and global community.

Sukha offers many continuing education credits for wellness professionals including massage therapists, chiropractors, registered nurses, psychologists, marriage and family therapists, acupuncturists and more.

Sukha is a community space dedicated to health, well-​being and consciousness raising events. It is also a space that can be used for special events or rented for corporate retreats.

History

Established in 2011.

Sukha opened the doors in Avila Village in October of 2011. It has become a local leader in transformative offerings and is proud to draw people from all over the country, Canada and beyond for health trainings.

Meet the Business Owner

Mary Sage S.

Business Owner

Mary Sage Sennewald is an advocate for empowerment through teaching classes, yoga, bodywork and living intentionally. She is passionate about sharing resources, information and tools for people to realize a more happy and healthy existence. She and her husband, along with their daughter Metta, run Sukha Wellness Center in Avila Beach. There they host educational courses for wellness practitioners, community events, workshops and classes.

Her Empowered Birth offerings includes HypnoBirthing® classes, Birth Doula services, prenatal bodywork, pre-​natal yoga, and more. She offers classes at Sukha in Avila Beach as well as other locations throughout SLO county.
