I asked for simple small cheese pizza. What I got was a pizza burned to charcoal on the bottom requiring me to dissect the totally carbonized section before eating it. Meatballs I ordered were OK. Last time I ordered a take out the pizza had a lake of tomato juice on the surface. There was really no excuse for this as the restaurant wasn’t busy with just a few tables being served. Needless to say we won’t be coming back.

I got the pizza to go and wasn’t that impressed, maybe because it’s a chain restaurant but for the price and the reviews I expected more. The edges of my pizza were burnt and there were barely any cheese in the pepperoni pizza I ordered.

I’ve been to Anthony’s a few times and I really like coming here. The place is nice and clean. Staff has always been friendly and service is good. The pizza here is really good as well, the only thing I do not like is when the crust is crunchy(not my preference, but that is me). The meatballs are delicious as well. I get them as appetizers sometimes. You can also order a pot to go which I did once as well. One of their specialty pizzas the«Paul and Young Ron» I believe it is called is very good as well. The Pizza is not as cheap as a regular chain you would from but I don’t mind paying for it, I think it is worth it when you can. I usually visit the Doral or Aventura location and both have been good. Definitely will keep coming back.

I only get the roasted cauliflower pizza. I’ve been getting it for at least a couple of years. The location I. Fort Lauderdale NEVER has as issue with me requesting«no cheese». However, the locations in NMB and Coral Gables REFUSE to simply not add parmigiano. I had to go all the way up to Aventura. Many thanks to them because they didn’t bat an eye when I requested«no cheese»

Anthony’s is a great family-style restaurant. Food quality is excellent and consisten. Salad, wings anda pizza are the usual way to to, but a pot of meatballs here and there won’t hurt anybody. Ambiance is greats and rotating beer selection makes every visit a different and interesting one!

Anthony’s has the best pizza in Florida. I had a history teacher in school who said,“Never say, ‘in my opinion’ because if it wasn’t your opinion, you wouldn’t be saying it! So I won’t say it’s my opinion. And it happens to be the fact. Diane and I started our meal at Anthony’s with an ice-cold Yueng-Ling beer – quite good! Next we had the best wings in Florida, falling off the bone, smothered in onions. We had an equally high quality large salad in vinaigrette dressing with Gorgonzola on the side to top it off perfectly! Then came the pizza!(Did I mention it’s the best in Florida?) It was so wonderfully cheesy and delicious you don’t mind that they make it «well done» with a few dark spots. That’s what gives it its’ charm. I had a ball at Anthony’s and enjoyed every minute of it! They brought a birthday cake free of charge for a member of our party, it always seems to be someone’s birthday or close to it! I played Happy Birthday on my harmonica and everyone went home happy!!!

This place has of the best pizza’s in North Miami by far! Service is also something they do pay close attention to! The manager is top notch overlooking everything… When I gave him the bday cake, told him please not in the freezer, simply loved his answer… «We do not have a freezer here, everything is fresh»!!! Hey… Great slogan!!! We ordered several pizzas, all very good, several chicken wings which they told me that were also good.(Sorry don’t like them), and their famous salad… Quite good as well… For desert, they have one of the best cheese cakes around as well… So, all in all it was a great night, not the cheapest one, but they did meet all my expectations!!! Enjoy

My fiancé and I are literally in here once a week(when we are in town). It’s a nice place, service is pretty fair I’ve never had a bad experience here. Pizza comes out pretty quickly. I definitely recommend it to friends and family.

We came here on a Thursday night and the place had a good crowd. The ambiance is very nice with just the right amount of lighting. They have TV’s everywhere and we sat in the bar area. The wings looked to die for and they have some very good pizza combinations. We eneded up ordering a regular pizza pie and the crust was perfect. On Mondays and Tuesdays(if i read it right), this location has half off all their craft beers… so a beer for 6.50 will go for 3.25. I will definately come back for that!

I went here with some friends for a get together. Unfortunately after arriving at 7pm, we realized that a reservation probably was in order. We got a table within an hour and all decided on classic pizza and wings. The wings were the best part of the meal, as they are coal fired, not fried. The pizza however, just wasn’t that great for me. I am used to NY style thin crust without a boatload of toppings on it, but thats what my table ordered so i cant hold it against them. The pizza was above and beyond the majority of places here, but maybe the types i tried just didn’t jive with what i typically eat. Anyways, i would still recommend the place and location, and despite being packed the servers did a great job getting us everything on time.

Came for a quick bite. It was super busy. However, the host was very fast and friendly. So much we sat at the bar. Kudos to the bartender. She was by herself with over 14 sits and she was on point with all of us. They have local craft beers including«la Rubia» from wynwood brewery and lagunitas. They have the best wings and wood oven pizza in town. I love restaurants that deliver good service even when they are packed.

This a pizza that you should eat with a fork and knife, one bite at a time, enjoying every bite. Crust was perfecfly cooked. The ingredients were fresh and the sauce was magnificent.

Delicious pizzeria. The coal fire makes a whole difference in the taste and I think this is Anthony’s biggest competitor advantage by far. It would be my first pizza choice if they were not always full… The roasted cauliflower(a little bit spicy) and the white pizza are my favorite. The wings are also delicious. They would get a 5 star if they accepted reservations. I understand the reason for that(they are full anyways) but waiting with two hungry kids it makes my visits less fun.

This was an unplanned last minute dinner choice. Was well worth it. The place was busy(for a Thurs.). I hear on the weekends you have to wait for a table. Nice open space to sit, so the tables aren’t that close. Just close enough to see what other people are ordering! Known for pizza, coal fired of course, it seems that everything on the menu is coal fired(Chicken Wings too!!). I enjoyed a wonderful family sized salad with all the fixings(lettuce, chickpeas, celery, tomatoes, egg, onion, & a big side of crumbled blue cheese) tossed not too heavy in a great dressing with pepper… it was Delicious. Of course being the veggie eater that I am I opted out of having any of the pizza that was ordered(large cheese) but it looked divine. The sauce isn’t sweet, crust is nice and crunchy with a not thick dough. Actually looking at that pizza and all the other pizzas I saw on other tables… All of them look amazing! Ok back to the veggie me. I ordered the tomato & mozzarella salad, plain(dressing/oil/balsamic on side) with only the center topping of sweet peppers on it. The size is amazing. Huge slices of tomato ripe and juicy with a just as thick slice of mozzarella. No dressing or anything needed on this. OUTSTANDING! Definitely worth another go. *only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was I wasn’t impressed with the glasses they served their beer in… too small/fancy looking for a pizza place.
