Richard Lucas Subaru

I purchased a 2016 WRX on ²⁄₂ and picked it up today. I couldn’t be happier with this dealership. First of all they were the only dealership that would try to locate the exact car I would want such as options and color. Other dealerships told me it can’t be done and pressured me to order the car which was impossible because I had to return my lease. The price for the northeast was more than fair. My salesman was Ryan Eavey who was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I couldn’t be any happier with him and he taught me everything about the car. He always kept in touch with me throughout the buying process. Lastly I dealt with finance manger Michael Brack. He was friendly and professional. He tried selling me the extended warranty but never made me feel pressured. Although I live in SI I will take my new wrx for service at Richard Lucas. I highly recommend this dealership.

I just bought a Subaru Crosstrek from this dealer yesterday. I cannot say enough about the service that was given to me. Sales people, Mike and Cameron, went out of their way to get me what I wanted. From the minute I walked in to the minute I drove off the lot, they didn’t pressure me, made me feel comfortable, explained everything I needed to know about my new purchase. I highly recommend this dealership and if you do stop by, ask for Mike or Cameron, they will get you what you want at a great deal!!!

I purchased a 2015 WRX, trading in my older vehicle. I worked with Cameron; a very pleasant and helpful salesperson. If you are going to buy a Subie at this dealer, call him. No issues at all buying the vehicle, I felt that both the purchase price and my trade in allowance were fair. Vehicle was delivered fully detailed and clean.
The waiting area for service is small, however this is about the same as other Subaru dealers in this area.

I found myself thinking of a new vehicle. Another dealer had sent me something in the mail but when I called they said since I had lease payments left they couldn’t help me. I was referred to visit Richard Lucas Chevy, even though it was a bit out of the way for me. They surpassed all my expectations. I met with Mike Cortese who was professional and thorough without being pushy. He understood what I wanted to do and worked with Richard Lucas Jr who made it happen. I drove home a brand new Equinox with no money out of pocket, they took care of my present lease, and my payments went DOWN. Who would have thought that you could SAVE $$$ by buying a new car? Go see these guys!

a place I will never go back, make a long story short bunch of con artist in management, Shop your numbers, don’t buy extended service from them they make up the numbers, if you got good credit get auto loan from bank cut out middleman. they owed me a refund never receive it, I would never buy from a vendor like this, they told me check is in the mail. Well its January 2015, refund I should of received September 2014. Word of advise I purchased many cars, they all play games, be smart and out play them I did when I purchased my 2014 Chevy Express, and it was not at Lucas the thief… George Lucas Bite me

I had visited Lucas Subaru when I was in the market for a new car last year. I did not end up buying there, because I feel like I wasn’t getting a good enough deal and the sales guy wasn’t easy to deal with
But since they’re the closest place to get my Subie serviced I came here. Saturday was pretty dead by dealer service standards. The dealership itself is not that great — you have to drive through this tiny lane to get around the backside where service is. Nothing is clearly marked so I had to ask someone at Chevy service. Its like the Subaru section was an afterthought and Cheverolet gets all the space.
Ok so I go in and its one guy behind a ratty looking desk. The check in was fine and my wait wasn’t long but it just kind of depressing in there. Not one of the nicer places to wait while getting an oil change but the service was fine.

HORRIBLE experience at this dealer. Was there to purchase my third Subaru but first time at this dealer. They kept switching salesmen on me and when I went tonight to pick up the car, they had switched the car without telling me! Was there for 2−½ hours to process paper work. When I realized what they had done I called a cab and got out of there. Extremely devious and dishonest.

I bought my 2014 Subaru Forester after an exhaustive internet search, using Consumer Reports, True Car, American Express, Edmunds, and Costco Buying Service. As it turned out, the prices on Richard Lucas’ website were close to the lowest prices I found and in some cases any lower prices were estimates, or on only one vehicle which was sure to be sold by the time I got the the dealership. That wasn’t the case here. When I contacted the dealer I had the privilege to speak to Wayne Steele and gave him my «out the door» bid. It was about $ 200 lower that the already low internet price on their website, but Wayne said we could do it at that price. When I got there I saw my vehicle with the options I wanted, though the color I originally asked for had just been sold. (It was a Saturday, and there were several buyers there.) No matter, as my wife liked the color of the one we bought better than my first choice, and of course, she was right!
The sale went as smooth as silk, from the upfront great internet price ($ 1,900 less than my local dealer), my dealings with Wayne Steele, right through to the financing guy John. At no point did I feel pressured to buy anything I didn’t want, including dealer add-​ons, extended warranties, or insurance. These things were presented, but when I decided against them we proceeded cheerfully on with the sale of my new 2014 Forester. I’ve never had a better buying experience than I had at Richard Lucas Subaru; they are honest, fair, and upfront with pricing, and genuinely friendly. Wayne, in particular, put our best interest ahead of his and the dealership, and for that I plan to return as a repeat buyer. I would rate this dealership 10 + on a scale of 10.
Did I mention that I couldn’t be happier?
