The elegantly landscaped garden includes a large fire ring and an open air ocean-​view lounge area near the front lobby. The new design takes advantage of the huge garden courtyard area by lending semi-​private living areas to ground-​level rooms. These new rooms feature large french doors leading into the lanai, making it the only hotel in Avalon where guests can relax in the comfort of their own patio.

Manager

Lubos Pech brings to the Pavilion Hotel more than two decades of experience at some of the world’s finest resorts. Most recently, he was food and beverage director at Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Hotel, a member of the leading hotels of the world. He also has served as the hotel manager of The Ritz-​Carlton in Marina del Rey, California, the Food and Beverage Director at the Ritz-​Carlton, Georgetown, and the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at The Ritz-​Carlton, Laguna, Niguel. In his new role, Pech will direct the completely renovated 71-​room, two-​story Pavilion Hotel (formerly the Pavilion Lodge) located in Avalon, just 14 steps from the beach.
