This place is excellent! The atmosphere is great, and the food and smoothies are delicious. The young lady at the front was very kind. She even gave me a free chocolate chip cookie (also delicious). I wish I could give 10 stars.

I set out to find an «okay» cup of coffee this morning. I have to be honest — I didn’t have high expectations. I took a chance, fired up Unilocal and set out to find that «okay» cup of coffee. What I found was hands down the best place to be in Ava, MO. Walking in you’re immediately transported somewhere else. And that somewhere else has an amazing breakfast sandwich (The Paddington) and that «okay» cup of coffee was smacked down by an EPIC full flavored cup of Joe that made the day so much better! Stop in even if you just happen to be «passing through» — it’s a decision I guarantee you won’t regret. i

Let me first start by saying I love to find local places and try to shop local as well. We have been doing work here in Ava, and found this cute lil gem amongst all the «fast food» so common in small towns. I had the Sweet Spinach Salad and loved it. The sweet onion dressing was delicious! My husband had half sandwich and a cup of soup. The sandwich was the applewood Roast beef and the soup of the day was Italian tortellini. He enjoyed it very much. Food doesn’t have to be complicated just good and nourishing! We tried their strawberry Italian soda, nice treat. They make all their own soups as well. They have a huge coffee and tea me has well. I’m about to try them again! I’ll update!

Great coffee/café…when you’re out in the country and need that truly quality caffeine fix!
Also, Rachel’s smoothies and pastries are the best.
We visit Ava twice year… but True Brew is ALWAYS on our visit list!
Highly recommend!
