When I moved to Austin — I knew nobody here, not a single soul. Laura helped me get into home in north Austin, then into another one in Pflugerville and finally, helped me purchase a home in Manor. While acting as a leasing agent, she was quick to get repairs taken care of (especially when that repair was the AC unit in July), was attentive to my needs and was generally a great agent. Her staff is polite, knowledgeable and helpful. She definitely deserves a 5 star rating.

We moved to Austin two years ago and Welcome Home made this happen for us. They were pleasant to deal with and things went quite smoothly, and thanks to Welcome Home we had a house ready for us to move into. Welcome home leasing has helped me and ALL of my friends in this town find great affordable digs, work out arrangements with landlord towards our benefit and the landlord, and has always always ALWAYS been there to answer even the dumbest questions we might have! Laura is THE BEST person to ever live on the planet and hold a run a real estate business in a town notorious for it’s picky, creepy, landlords. The thing about them is that they really give a crap! Welcome home leasing has helped the Austin Music scene by helping musicians find great affordable, clean places to live! So we shouldn’t just thank them for finding us a home but also a lot of the great musicians in Austin.
How do I know this? I have worked with Welcome home through at least Five or Six leases and each time it turned out awesome! On time was very tricky because I was attacked by my roomate girlfriend and had to find a place nearby but quik! They not only talked to the landlord but were more supportive and helpful just as Human beings! If I was you I would ignore any resentful pissy reviews you might read here.
Welcome Home leasing not only has helped some of the finest musicians that live here LIVE HERE, but is an avid supporter of the Music scene AND the Rollerderby! If a Rollergirl digs em well it must be good cause they don’t take crap, and they’re smart !

Welcome Home is an amazing company. They found me a great duplex for a very reasonable price. They remodeled the whole place before I moved in — fresh paint, new floors, the works! They have a website where you can pay your rent and submit maintenance requests online — SUPER CONVENIENT! All of my maintenance requests have been addressed same day or the following business day. I have been leasing from them for 10 months now and I have not had any negative experiences. I always recommend Welcome Home to any friends looking to move.

Welcome Home Leasing has been a great company to work with. They are very prompt with repair issues, and have been kind and sympathetic in regard to the owner raising my rent 33% (I have nothing nice to say about the owners, which really highlights how great the leasing company is in comparison to the people who actually own this property). I appreciate their casual demeanor and openness when dealing with the vagaries of being the in-​between person/​company (perhaps the other reviewer doesn’t understand that they still have to check with the owner regarding what is being done to his own property – that the owner can dictate those terms?). I’ve dealt with so many owners and property management companies over the years in Austin and in Boston, and Welcome Home Leasing is by far the easiest, professional-​yet-​relaxed group I’ve had the pleasure of working with.
Since I’m in the process of moving out, I cannot address the deposit, but will append this review if there are any problems with receiving it.
