Wee Warhols – Children’s Art Classes

Wow, what a wonderful experience we had today (01/​30/​2016) at Wee Warhols as they hosted DSACT for a morning of fun and art. From the street you may be a little confused, because for all intents and purposes this is a (beautiful) house. But the living quarters are in the back, and the garage and open area is where all of the fun happens.
I’m not much of an artist, but they had a TON of activities and tables setup for the kids to do all kinds of fun stuff. And if they get bored of the art, then there is a great swing hanging from a old tree that you can swing from, a play kitchen, kids work bench, etc.
The instructor (Amber) had a shockingly good memory and (as far as I saw) remembered the names off all the children. Amber and her assistant were fun, kind, and patient — everything you would want from adults working with kids — especially kids with special needs.
If they had cooler of beer, I would have stayed all day. Everyone was having good time and no one wanted to leave. We’ll be back.

I have seen some of the amazing art projects & fun that kids can create & enjoy at Wee Warhols… the Instructor is so talented & creative, I highly recommend this art camp to all parents with children who love art & creativity!

UPDATE: I have re-​enrolled my son in the fall class because he had so much fun in his previous classes. He can’t stop talking about going back to «Ms. Amber!» I can’t wait to see the new fun art he brings home.

My daughter loved this experience. Drop off and pick up were super easy. The kids were greeted by the teachers and were excited to share their projects upon pick up. The experience was completely age appropriate for our 3.5 yr old and worth every penny. I loved the teachers. Amber provides a lot of experiences for the children and the portfolio of art work they create throughout the month is quite substantial.

My 3.5 year-​old loved going to art camp… all of the art projects were well suited for her age, the teachers were amazing, the studio/​classroom was clean and very kid-​friendly, classes were small and I loved how they posted lots of pictures on their Facebook page so you would see all of the fun they were having every day! If you have a toddler that likes to have fun with art, look no further!
