Perfect little children’s boutique! You can tell that the owner only busy quality products. I came across this store while visiting Austin and I am so glad I did! I had 2 baby girl gifts to buy for 2 sisters that are due on the exact same day. I bought adorable hot pink outfit with white bows all over it and ruffles on the bottom. So cute! The fabric is made out of bamboo so it is extremely soft… I wish I could wear it.

I was wondering around 2^nd Street District, popping into shops to see what was new since the last time I was in town. When I walked into Wee, I was instantly in love! They carry the cutest things that you won’t necessarily find anywhere else. I fell in love with the Ruby Pearl dresses, but needed to have a little think on them. I went to dinner nearby, and couldn’t get the dresses out of my head. With 20 minutes left til the shop closed, I ran back with my shopping buddy, to pick out dresses for my 3 little girls. The sales associate was wonderful– she helped me by grouping the dress sizes together, and displaying them in a way to make it easier to choose the dresses. She was so sweet and friendly, that I’ve been telling everyone about her and this store. I ended up buying a Good-​Night Austin book as well. Will definitely be back!

Wee is a great baby store, albiet fairly small. I decided to buy my baby furniture from here, as the lines that they carry is much nicer than what the other bigger baby stores in Austin have. It was also great to be able to look at the items in store, rather than just rely on online pictures. It took about three months to complete the order (not Wee’s fault — the furniture was on back order from the manufacturer), but Kristin kept me updated throughout the process. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and products we recieved.

This place does have adorable things, I’ll give you that. The only problem is they are really difficult to afford on a regular basis. You are definitely paying for their Second St. rent here when you buy things.
In summary, shop here if you’ve got a SPECIAL gift to buy. Otherwise, this place will clean out your wallets in addition to getting very cute baby stuff.

I wouldn’t go there in search of a gift because the shelves and racks were incredibly sparse. I get the whole modern, minimalistic look, but it comes across as not having any selection. The sales staff was very friendly, though.

The best store in Austin for European parents or anyone who has a very urban style. I sure wish it was a little bit cheaper so I could buy more stuff from this place!

I don’t have kids of my own, but now that I have twin six-​month-​old nephews, I’ve had to mosey around to Austin’s various baby stores in search of Christmas gifts. Easily the best of the bunch is Wee. (Disclaimer: I do casually know the owner.) Wee’s a boutique and doesn’t have a massive selection, but what it does have is remarkably well-​edited. The clothes are, well, the most «Austin-​y» I’ve seen, a great mix of casual and trendy. There’s a nice selection of furniture that will appeal to anyone who reads the likes of Dwell (and they sell the unrelated line DwellStudio). Also a nice bonus is the store’s tres chic interior design — keep in mind the owner also helped do the interiors at Perla’s!

It’s a very cute store with many adorable baby gifts.
I went there to get a baby shower gift for my friend. I gave only three stars because a lot of registered items were not available at the store for reasons other than people (in the same party) having bought them.
But the staff was extremely helpful in coming up with alternatives, as well as trying hard to find the items I was looking for.
I also liked a free parking at City Hall. Their website says: «2 Hour Free Parking at City Hall with store validation (no purchase necessary)» — unlike several other places in the district. Yay!

I stopped in here on Saturday morning to pick up another baby shower gift and was delighted to find all kinds of cute clothes, gifts, books and toys (looked like there was furniture as well, but I didn’t pay much attention to the bigger items). All while the Beatles played in the background. What a fun shopping experience! My goal was to walk away with a couple of cute baby girl outfits. The prices might run a little high compared to some other kid shops, but since I wanted to Mother-​to-​be to open up something adorable and unique, Wee really came through for me.
The selection isn’t huge, which was probably good news for my pocketbook since I was wanting to walk out of there with every item they have. I ended up with two outfits perfectly wrapped up in a white box and brown ribbon.

Bravo for doing something DIFFERENT in Austin for baby stores! It’s a more modern, hip version of all things baby. I love it. We bought our Monte Luca glider from them and we really like their diaper covers and fun factor. Be prepared, it’s not on the inexpensive side, but they have great taste and the staff is courteous and helpful. Love Wee! Happy 1^st birthday too!

I came in for the Kidbits event (you say cupcakes and booze and casually say «free» and I will show up, anywhere, I don’t care what it is, I will support that cause. Hitler? Veganism? Cannibalism? NAMBLA? Whatever — free cupcakes and booze, you have my presence at your next event guaranteed).
I thought I’d troll through the wine and glance and go, maybe if I was lucky find something for that 3-​year-​old cousin of mine in Australia, but no, I found the hippest-​hot-​mama shop in A-​town.
Cute toddler jeans with Warhol-​esque screen printed skulls on the back pockets? CHECK
Funky mommy things that you KNOW your young, hipster fashion designer best friend and baby-​mommy will use and love? CHECK
Awesomely graphically designed matching/​match-​up cards for kids? DOUBLE CHECK
Adorable mobiles of the coolest stuff (one was a knit-​like bird cage with funky, stuffed, little birdies inside) that EVEN YOU want over YOUR bed in your empty, baby-​less apartment? (let’s keep it that way) TRIPLE CHECK
All in all, VERY COOL and very good place to go for those who want to make babies hip and those who know hip momma’s.
Minus 1-​star for prices, they were a little outlandish on a few items, but only marginally high on others… for the most part though, and again, I am no expert on baby-​shopping, I find $ 84 for jeans for a 3-​year old to be quite high.

if you are looking for hip/​cute baby stuff, wee is where it’s at. i have already been instructed by my friends and sister that when they have a baby, i am to tell all potential gift givers to go to wee first. be ready to drop a pretty penny because having your baby look good is gonna cost you.

cute, cute, cute! My sister recently had a baby and I’ve been visiting Wee every so often for presents for my baby neice. I love all the cute onsies they carry, its so girly and adorable! They even carry joes jeans, so I’m anxiously waiting for her to grow a little bigger. They also have organic lotions and cute sippy cups and trays!
