Worst company ever. changed a clutch for me and didn’t add fluids after dropping the trans. also used the same pilot bearing that was worn and caused the clutch not to fully disengage I got a new clutch but the problem wasn’t fixed that’s up rev your the worst. mike is also the biggest liar ive ever seen. take your baby to up rev if you want your whole z experience to be ruined. called mike two days after to see if I could have them look at the car again he told me it would be a couple weeks he was starting rehab for some problem he is having. so I brought the car in to the shop mike had his 255 tail sitting behind the desk I asked if I could have the mechanic come out and look at the car he said he would. he got in the car seen that it wouldn’t go into gear without a struggle and said it would be 125 and hour for then to look at it. told mike I wasn’t leaving until I talked to someone else he kept telling me no I wouldn’t leave so he called the cops on me. when the cops arrived the owner came out and told them that mike handles everything.

I learned about Uprev in 2006 when I first got my Nissan 350Z. As I’ve added more modifications to my engine, I’ve had my car tuned there several times, using Uprev’s Osiris reflash software. As a track event instructor & participant, I have specific tuning needs. The engine must be able to handle a 20-minute track session where I’m on the throttle most of the time, and still not overheat. And it must get the most power possible. I gave Jared my specific tuning needs, and using their Dynojet, he custom tuned my car to my specs. If you visit Uprev, you’ll see that they aren’t just a normal shop. They have a «lab», where the ECU magic happens. Sometimes you may also see Uprev fan girls, as seen in another Unilocal review. And Uprev is happy to do a simple oil change if that’s all you need. It will take longer than your typical quick-oil change shop, but it will be done right, and with good oil. Uprev is most popular with the Nissan 350Z and Infinity G35 crowd, as well as the Nissan Titan guys. Have a Titan and want 20 more horsepower? Go see Uprev. If you have a Nissan that is 2003 or newer, and you’ve upgraded your exhaust, air intake, plenum, cams, or if you’ve added a turbo kit, then usually your car will have to be re-tuned to make use of these modifications. This is where Uprev comes in. First, they reflash your car’s computer to make it tunable. Then they tune it on the Dyno to get the most safe power possible. And if you just want to do big smokey burnouts, they can help with that too.

UpRev is like a garage for techie motor heads. They know their stuff. They work long hours. They fiddle with computer-y thingies in the dead of the night. They take cars completely apart, but they aren’t typical mechanics. No oil changes here. As a pseudo customer(there’s your disclosure), I spent many hours there working on a 350z after hours, and I got to know the shop fairly well. The clientele here is usually men who want to spruce up their vehicles and not by adding bling bling. They usually want to upgrade parts, add extra thingies(that I now cannot remember), and try new performance software. They need that extra .25 horse power to give them that edge going around a hairpin turn. They want the newest pieces of technology to improve their track times. So if you have a small fortune to spend on your car, UpRev is the way to go.
