Tri County Pool Service

Well they did it again, EXCELLENT SERVICE! I thought I had burned out my pump and approved the amount to replace the pump. When the technician arrived onsite he found that it was only a small part on the pump that had gone out so he only replaced that part. I am back in business for a fraction of the cost. THANK YOU for being so honest.

Tri County Pools built us a great pool and we have enjoyed for many years. Because we like the pool builder we decided to use Tri County Pool Services. We later learned it is a separate company from the builder, owned and operated as an independent company. So, to the «pool service» review. It is our opinion that there is turnover in the folks who clean the pool. Some new hires have never cleaned pools before or worked with equipment. They do get trained, and then it’s trial & error until they get it right. Then you get a new guy. When you call the office to let them know that there’s a problem, be aware that you will have to chase after the lady as she is not great with follow up. She does pass on the message but, don’t expect a call back. A couple of things they do well is repair equipment (the owner does it and, well) and, send the bill on time. So, do have them build the pool but, consider other services.

These guys have maintained our pool since it was built 8 years ago. Their pool contracting company also built our pool. We’ve found them to be very professional and accommodating. Their prices are competitive and their service personnel are always really nice. We trust them and they’ve always solved any problem we’ve had over the years.

This company has serviced our HOA for at least the last three years since we bought our condo. They have been awful then entire time. Last summer they over-​chlorinated the pool so bad it ate holes through my suit and I could only swim for about 30 minutes at a time before I would start to get a headache from all the chlorine.
Everyone was complaining about the over-​chlorination to the HOA, so they bought a brand new state of the art salt water system that uses very little chlorine. What does Tri County Pool Service do? They start dropping tons of chlorine in the pool, of course. This is a SALT WATER SYSTEM, folks!
Here are so of the other troubles we’ve had with them:
–They don’t come when they say they are going to come
–They don’t clean out the pool when they mark on the log that they cleaned out the pool
–They don’t empty the gutters when they mark on the log that they emptied the gutters
You get the point.
Here’s the kicker. Recently, they sent a 17 year old kid out to service the pool. The only thing he managed to do was break our new $ 8,000 salt water pool motor. When we called and emailed Tri County Pool to complain, they didn’t respond… and they didn’t respond. Finally, when we got a response, they fired us instead of the incompetent kid! Good riddance!!!
