History

Established in 1980.

Tocquigny was founded by Yvonne Tocquigny in 1980 as a creative boutique. The company’s steady growth was propelled by an ever-​present desire to understand the newest trends in marketing and how the most leading-​edge techniques can help our clients achieve the success they desire. This has led the agency to add new skill sets and offerings rarely found in more traditional marketing companies. We were quick to adopt interactive marketing as a competency in the 1990s, which has helped us achieve a notable position of leadership in this area. Today, our growth focus includes offerings focused on insights, such as research and data analysis, as well as our business consulting group who consults with companies to address challenges that transcend marketing. We are also pioneering mobile marketing applications as well as viral and social marketing techniques.

Business Owner

Yvonne began her advertising career as a passionately creative art director. After a brief stint working in a big-​agency environment in Houston, Yvonne moved to Austin where she founded Tocquigny in 1980. As the leader of a creatively focused organization, she created work that won awards from the New York Art Directors Club, AIGA, Print and HOW, in addition to winning numerous National Addy and Telly Awards. Always striving to find new ways to make her clients successful, Yvonne transformed the creative shop into a full-​service agency in 1991, began to offer interactive marketing services in 1999 and added database analytics and research capabilities in 2001. Tocquigny is constantly evolving to offer a strategic advantage to clients as well as create a challenging, learning organization for employees.
