Give the experience of one-​on-​one time with incredible animals! We run birthday parties, office parties, pet therapy programs, public playgroups and more at locations all over central Texas!

We are a very unique petting zoo. We have small and miniature animals only, which we’ve found to be less intimidating for children and people not used to animals. We run our zoos in a very unique way: we bring little stools for children (or chairs for adults!) to sit on, mats to put in their laps, and we hand everyone animals to hold. This results in a lot of one-​on-​one time with the animals without the uncontrolled «free for all» from other zoos.

We specialize in birthday parties for kids and adults! We take great care to make sure that the birthday child feels special and comfortable. They get to help us open the baskets of animals and «unveil» the animals to everyone at the party. The birthday child also gets to spend as much time in the pen as she/​he would like.

History

Established in 2009.

This business was started in 2009 as a «spinoff» of the owner’s parents’ traveling petting zoo which you can visit online at www​.squeal​son​wheels​.us.

When Chelsea (the owner) moved to Texas in 2004 for college, she quickly realized that she missed having her parents’ multitude of animals around. She decided, five years later, that she needed to start her own traveling petting zoo.

Since the name Squeals on Wheels was already taken, Chelsea decided that the next best name for a zoo was Tiny Tails to You, and her small-​animal traveling petting zoo was born!

Chelsea graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007 with honors and a degree in Government. After graduation, she worked as a legislative assistant/​lobbyist for a couple years before starting her petting zoo in 2009. Chelsea LOVES working with animals and children and believes this to be the most wonderful job she could have asked for.

Tiny Tails to you was awesome! I hire them for my 2 year old birthday party. They arrived on time, were super kind and sweet with the little kids and the animals. They made everybody feel at ease with the animals and children and adults enjoyed it so much! I will for sure do this again! The animals were stars! So sweet and gentle with the kids as well!

These guys are superb. The handlers are kind and gentle to the animals and impart to the children that they need to be also, but in a very positive way. We’ve had TTTY for four birthday parties at our house… year after year our girls want nothing else! Travis, the handler we had this time, was very knowledgeable about the animals and shared lots of information with the kids throughout the zoo. Booking is easy, they confirm, show up on time, set up quickly, give clear instructions/​expectations to the children up front, and things always run smoothly. Thanks to TTTY for year after year of creating wonderful birthday memories for our kids, their friends, and all the parents too!

I love these guys. I have had them to my home 4 times over the last 5 years and at my last 4 charity events in central Austin. I have also visited them at a farmers market. The animals seem happy and well cared for. The staff also seems happy and awesome. They worked well with the children and are always flexible and super nice! Website is easy to use and customer service is quick and helpful. They called to confirm my zoo and then called to let me know the weather in case I needed time to move my party. Excellent! This is a great choice for any party where you don’t want to rent out a germy venue, but just want to have a nice activity at your house that kids will love. It is expensive, but costs less than having an event off-​site and is completely worth every penny. I am waiting for the chance to use them for an adult event, «hoppy hour». I know the adults love them as much as the kids do.

Cannot express enough how awesome this group is! A ton of 3 and 4 year olds and it was amazing. 2nd time to use them and would use them a 3rd time! Love TTTY and their staff is as friendly as they come. Last minute change of time was also accommodated. 5 star for sure!

Had a petting zoo party for all adults and it was awesome! It was cold and dark outside so the friendly staff person set up in the living room. It’s the second time I’ve had them out to the house and can’t wait to do it again !!

This was the most amazing birthday party for someone turning 31 that you can have! Every one had a great time — we had baby bunnies, rabbits, baby chicks, a chinchilla, a hedgehog, a tortoise, 2 guinea pigs, and probably some other animals I am forgetting about.
They are so organized and friendly (the staff, not the animals).
We will have to do this again!

We had TTTY come out to our house last Saturday for our son’s first birthday and I couldn’t of asked for a better day for my baby Maximus. Everything went perfect. The arrival time and set were quick, our host was very patient with all of the kids (ages 1 – 10) that were wanting to swap animals every 2 mins it seemed and my 1 yr old loved it as you can see from the pictures and who I was also a bit hesitant with introducing animals to a baby but he was definitely excited to hold and pet them. Price was reasonable and I would love to have TTTY at a future party. :)

Tiny Tails To You came to my son’s 6th birthday party yesterday and we couldn’t have been happier with them. The animals were a huge hit, especially the baby bunnies and hedgehog. The face painter was awesome! She was able to create all the beautiful and crazy designs that the kids came up with. We had vampires, zombies, Wonder Woman, butterflies, kitties and a dog. So impressed! I highly recommend them for your child’s birthday. You won’t be disappointed.

We hired Tiny Tails for our 1 year old daughter’s birthday party. We had children from 1 – 7 years old and they all loved it! Tiny Tails was so knowledgable and patient and the set up was so fast and easy. The service that we had from start to finish was excellent and easy. We would hire them again any day! We highly recommend them! Even the adults loved all of the animals! They are fantastic!

Tiny Tails was great. Our church recently used them for our Back to School Bash. They were on time, and the guy that came (sorry, can’t remember his name) was awesome. So courteous and all I needed to do is point him in the right direction and he handled it all. The kids and adults loved the animals. Highly recommend them.

Need something fun for an office happy hour and remembered going to a Tiny Tails event last year. Went to their website, easy to set up.
Nick of Tiny Tails came to the office on the day of the event and did a quick setup. He was a great petting zookeeper.

Our moms group has Tiny Tails every year for our Easter egg hunt. The kids love it so much we decided to have them come for their joint birthday party (3 and 1). We booked them for 1.5 hours which was lots of time for all the kids to hold all the animals. They all loved it.

NO ANIMALS WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS WEDDING!
Yes, they do weddings! These guys are awesome. We reserved a large Hoppy Hour for two hours in the evening. 1 hour was exclusively for the use of one bunny (named Waffle!!) to be held by the bride as she walked down the aisle. Yep, that happened. Deposit was only $ 50 and Joe (one of the owners) was very communicative up until the big day.
The wedding venue was Barr Mansion and it was so so freezing the day of. They unfortunately wouldn’t let the animals inside, but we were able to set up a couple heaters around them. Nick was a super duper sport about it. He set up without complaints and kept all the animals loaded in the car until the last possible moment to keep them warm. Nick was a huge help throughout the entire process and so incredibly attentive and caring towards the animals– which was the biggest draw and probably the most awesome thing about TTTY. You can really tell how much they care for these adorable lil guys.
I definitely recommend TTTY to anyone looking into getting a petting zoo for a party or wedding!

«This was the greatest fun and idea at a child’s party ever» ~ from a parent who came to our house
We don’t do many «big» things for kids parties, but recently we decided to hire Tiny Tails from our great experiences with them at community events, like Cat Hollow Park festivals, and we were thoroughly pleased.
For our party, it rained that day… so we needed to adapt and move things inside. No problem for Tiny Tails!
Gabby of Tiny Tails showed up on time and set up with ease. She brought a myriad of fun animals for many of the kids to enjoy.
She brought: a tortoise, hedgehog, chicks, rabbits, guinea pig, blue tongue skate, a bearded dragon and a few others.
ALL of the kids were the most focused and quiet I had ever seen when she was there introducing the animals with the birthday girl. It was a fun time and a memory that will last with us and with the kids.
Overall, I cannot recommend them enough. Gabby was great. She came in on time, set up in our house (including protective tarp), controlled the excitement of the kids, and kept them informed and educated.
Hands down and smiles up… tiny tails is a great thing for your next event. [thanks Gabby]

I first saw Tiny Tails to You! at the Highland Farmers Market. Being the animal lover that I am, I knew I wanted to have them at my birthday party — despite turning 23 years old. (One is never too old for tiny animals!)
We got a Hoppy Hour package for an hour and a half. Lon was there about 15 minutes early to set up the petting zoo in our backyard. He was very helpful with describing the animals he brought and responded to all questions that we asked. There were tons of bunnies, a bearded dragon, a skink, chinchilla, goslings, chicks, and a hedgehog. They let you request the animals you want (I requested the skink and chinchilla) — I really should have also requested a guinea pig. Those are too cute.
Anyway, everyone really loved the petting zoo. They brought mats and once the excitement of holding all the animals died down, we sat around with animals in lap and chatted. We had a few mishaps — the skink peed on my roommate! — but you have to expect that with animals. Any squeamish people are free to use the provided mats and hand sanitizer.
Animals seemed happy and well cared for, which is always a plus!
